Purple is such an elegant color it used to be reserved only for royalty. Nowadays, of course, anybody can wear purple, and it is easier to carry than you think. For summer days, purple looks good with white or beige neutrals, and contrasts well with green, yellow, and orange. But for the cooler season, try purple with darker neturals like grey, brown, and black, or pair it with lavander, lilac, mauve, plum, for a monochromatic effect.
