Regalong Pambahay is probably the last place you’d look for baubles and bling. So imagine my surprise when I walked into their store in Megamall.
I was initially attracted to the large yellow garden umbrella on their window display (about P4,000, proudly Pinoy-made) — I love these umbrellas because they remind me of posh resorts. Anyway, it turns out half of the store is dedicated to trendy accessories under the label Simple Joys. Their accessories are a mix of locally made beads and of-the-moment gold-tone pieces from Bangkok. Which explains the affordable prices. Hurry, the items are going fast. This is one fashion secret too juicy to keep!
