There is no Topshop flagship store in New York City. Did you know that? How can this icon of the British high street be absent from the retail capital of the world? But Topshop has several branches here in Manila, with merchandise produced in China shipped to England then back to Asia…let us not question the quirks of globalization that led to our unexpected good fortune. Tee hee! In time for the back-to-school bustle, Topshop is giving students 10% off on all purchases

Just a few days after Shopcrazy celebratedthe births of baby Shiloh (by Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt) and baby Kingston (by Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale), Vince and Eileen Grey of The Picture Company e-mailed us about their latest “Pregnancy Portraits” photography service. I love using clutches for evening. They’re elegantly streamlined yet compact enough to carry the essentials. A fab new bag store called Matisse has some of the most unique and exquisite pieces around. My top pick is this satin bejeweled number because the bright color adds punch to any ensemble and the jewel detail gives it a vintage, I-got-it-from-my-lola feel.
