Perfect Baby Shower or Baptism Gift

When giving baby shower or baptism gifts, I’ve found that there’s nothing that beats a nappy cake from More Than Giftsa two- or three-tiered cake made of diapers, baby blankets, onesies, PJs, booties, burping cloths and a toy or two. It looks fantastic and makes for a great centerpiece during baby showers, or a cute hospital side table decoration. It comes already “wrapped” and people I’ve given them to say that unraveling it layer by layer is such a joy. Apparently, each nappy cake contains baby essentials a mom always welcomes, whether she has them already or not. You can even request the kind of things to be put inside the cake, like asking for Velcro pre-folded cloth diapers instead of disposable ones. So you cant go wrong. For busy people, taking the thinking out of shopping yet giving something well thought of is a great convenience.

Hi Jamie,
It’s not the same Nappy Cakes featured in GH. They’re a different group. They sell other stuff aside from nappy cakes.

Hi Jamie!
There’s a cuter version of these diaper cakes. I think they’re called Bubba Cakes. Saw them on this month’s ish of Moms & Babies. The seller’s number is 0917 891 4540.

Yeah, saw those Bubba Cakes too on TV. They were featured in Mommy Academy on Ch 5. Looks like real cakes talaga!

I received a cake made by you guys from my officemates when they threw a baby shower for my first-born (a girl). I loved it and couldn’t help but adore it! Didn’t dismantle it until a few weeks after I gave birth. Showed it to all my relatives and friends who visited me and everyone liked it too. Will definitely request for another cake made by you guys when the 2nd baby comes =)

The nappy cake designs looked very artistic. Received a ‘candy’ giveaways from a birthday party in Alabang and Im impressed by the creativity. Will definitely need a party cake from More Than Gifts this coming July.

I received a diaper cake for my son’s christening. But from another diaper cake maker here in Manila. Nappycakes. I think this is the same one Jamie was referring to, because I also saw that feature on Good Housekeeping and Working Mom. She has a website up http://www.picturetrail.com/nappycakes. Nice products! Yes, and not just diaper cakes but a lot more. =)

Me, too. I attended this baptismal in Las Pinas and at first I thought they were giving away tulips for the guests, yun pala it’s a small towel rolled like a tulip. The way it was done is mind boggling! I plan not to open it, ganda tingnan e! The maker has a site, too. It’s http://www.bubbacakes.com

Friends this is More Than Gifts:). You may contact Ms. Nikki Olives 0917-5201476, though MTG is fairly new, they have an array of original styles that are both creative and affordable.

Checked out the websites jing & carla mentioned, think they all use different styles. At least it gives the customer more options.
It would be nice to comment on their own website.

Hey I like the way you’re showing the contents yet maintaining the cakes’ figure. This way it really represents the value of the gift, so cute!

I also heard of Mama Bear’s Cakes. It looks great and the clothing items are really of good quality. Just don’t know her number anymore.
