I highly recommend all mommies to be (first timers or not) to have their pregnancy portrait taken at The Picture Company. I had mine when I was 33 weeks pregnant and it was one of the most memorable experiences I had. I enjoyed every minute of the shoot. The photographers are so nice, warm and very good at their craft. The pictures were Fantabulous! With a capital F

Hi shiena! I hope i get to see your preggy pictures too. I am an expecting mom as well and I had my share of preggy portraits with another photogrpahy studio somewhere in Gateway, Araneta, and I had a fantastic experience with them. They really used good lighting (parang pang magazine ang dating!). It was not just shots na parang taken lang from a digicam by my husband. The photographers were also nice, they made me chika on what’s bagay with my skin tone.I personally experienced their service and they did great! I feel good about the pictures coz I looked so nice on it- like a blooming expecting mom (i think the lights and effects that they used flattered the whole concept of my portrait). And the bottomline is: their prices are not so bad at all. Check them out! I think they have a website.

hi everyone!
i definitely recommend Blow-Up Babies at Gateway Mall! Their lighting is soooo good, iba talaga ang dating. I’ve had my kids’ pictures taken at the Picture Co. before at nagsisi ako kasi ang mahal mahal ng membership nila. I was happy with my photos at first until I saw my friend’s pic taken at Blow-Up Babies. It turns out that their membership rate is alot more afforadable and their photos are excellent! It’s a whole new level talaga in terms of the photography experience! Pang-artista ang dating!

I recommend The Picture Company! You really have to try it out. At first I thought it was a bit pricey but it was all worth it. Their staff , especially in Mall of Asia (that’s where i signed up) are so friendly and accomodating. They also have a lot of perks for members. My child is always asking me to come back there and have our pictures taken. I have been to blow up babies pero it seems that they followed everything that Picture Company offers. And a lot of my friends have been asking me to try out Picture Company so i did.

hi! how much are the rates for picture company and blow up babies? Thanks!
October 31st, 2006 at 1:21 am
i think its 1500 for blow up and 2500 for Picture Company. 1000 difference but the experience is all worth it. they already have 4 branches.

The membership in picture company is actually 2,500 pesos but I paid in cash so I was able to get it in a better price. I had a session once in blow up babies but I wasn’t quite satisfied with my pictures, even if they’re cheaper. The setting in the studio did not fit the mood of my baby and my other 2 kids.Unlike in picture company, my kids look for their photographer and they feel at home already! I remember one of my daughters waking me up one saturday morning saying, “Mommy, let’s go to podium, I want to have my pictures taken today.” If I do get pregnant again (hopefully soon) I’d want to have my preganancy portrait done with them, no doubt about it.

Blow-up Babies has 2 branches na! They have one in Gateway and now they have na in Serendra. It’s right above Sonja’s Cupcakes, across Gymboree. I registered in gateway, but now I book my sessions na in Serendra and I can assure you both branches are super galing when taking pictures. They also have original concepts…super unique. And the lighting? Galing! I mean if I’d be spending so much on pictures might as well yung may artistic touch na.
Ronie, their number is
9137710 -gateway & 9097998 -Serendra

i had my daughter’s picture taken at blow up babies and they’re so cute! i’ve never tried picture co. though i heard they were good also. sayang i wasn’t able to get my pregnancy portraits but would like to try some skin shots of my own.
i guess it’s a matter of choice na lang, i think both studios are doing great.

I got married when i was 27, to John Maigler. We got an appartment with i room and 1 bathroom. 2 months later i got pregnant with tripletes. It was the middle of the night when my water broke and john refused to take me to the hospital. i was in te bathroom for about 6 hours until my neighbor herd me screaming and took me to the hospital. All 3 of my babies were dead. I divorced John and got married to a lovely man, Brian Kurzawa. Now i am 8 1/2 months pregnant with my twins. My due date is June 29th 2007.

Hello. I went to the picture company just earlier today. I was told by the receptionist that for every 4 sheets I get the cd proof of the session na for free, and then I was so amazed that the photographer told me that I need to print 8 sheets for them to release the cd copy… Hmmm… I just want to know which is supposed to be true. Cz I ended up with a bill of 7520 + 2500 for the membership fee.

In my opinion both have different things to offer Blow Up Babies is more dramatic with their lighting and Picture Company is more colorful in their portraits. They do offer both though.Blow up Babies is set on NOT COPYING Picture Company because they veered away from taking bright and happy portarits and a colorful interior( it was Picture This who copied Picture Company). So, the debate of who is better? it depends on your needs if you mind coughing up the extra dough go to Pic Co. they pioneered the business of kid studios. I’ve seen the work of Blow Up Babies and they are excellent photographers as well and yes cheaper than Pic Co.I love how everyone in Blow up is relaxed and accomodating. Animated Photographers. Picture Company used to have the same kind of photographers ( I even heard there are actual Photographers who used to work in Picture Company who now work in Blow Up Babies). I guess you can say I have been to all of these studios dragging my sisters and their kids from one studio to another looking for the best deal. I have been satisfied with all their pictures they all know their craft well. My two cents on this is that Picture Company and Picture This has to ante up on their relationship with clients. Hoping Picture Company goes back to their roots it was more warm and comfortable with the type of service they used to give and everyone there was so friendly. In a way I guess Iam more of a Pic Co. loyalist because they were the first.
