Topshop Sale for Students Only (What about us working stiffs?)

There is no Topshop flagship store in New York City. Did you know that? How can this icon of the British high street be absent from the retail capital of the world? But Topshop has several branches here in Manila, with merchandise produced in China shipped to England then back to Asia…let us not question the quirks of globalization that led to our unexpected good fortune. Tee hee! In time for the back-to-school bustle, Topshop is giving students 10% off on all purchases
from June 1-30. The store’s internal security policies are worthy of MI6—a valid student ID or enrollment form needs to be presented before the discount will be given. But will the throngs of working wounded be so easily thwarted? Will armies of matriculating sisters, brothers, nieces, and nephews be dispatched to buy cropped pants, waistcoats, and slouch bags by the bulk? Dear Topshop, please turn a blind eye. Topshop has branches at Robinsons Place Manila*, Robinsons Galleria*, Shangri La Plaza, Glorietta 2, Alabang Town Center, Power Plant Mall*, and The Podium*.
*also carries Topman, which is also part of the sale
P.S. We hear the Topshop flagship store in Manhattan will finally open in the spring!

will it look too suspicious if i bring my 5-year-old niece with her pre-school ID? haha! any kind of sale from topshop is good news to me.

Here in the UK, those England belt costs around 8-12 pounds.
Hmmm… Reasonable prices on those items, plus 10% discounts. I may book my trip to Manila soon.. lol

Trivia: Topshop always had some kind of discount (10% I think) before. But, then, it was only for ICANS. (ICA students) I think ICA graduates can avail of the discount too, but I’m not sure.
I think it’s because Topshop’s head in the Philippines (Robina Gokongwei) was an ICAN before.

hey guys, just wanna say congrats! your site is awesome! I am itching to fly back home..huhu..I am a sale junkie girl and always look for good finds..here in N.Y. Zara is expensive I always wait for their end of the season sale and so, I always go to urbanoutfitters they’ve got great stuff and style for like less than $5 for branded stuff and cool styles, so it fits my budget perfectly!..hehe..anyways..love your site..i think i’ll be addicted to this..just one thing I can’t go to the links even if i click so many times…

Just heard from a very reliable source working in retail in the UK that Topshop is set to open its first store in the U.S., specifically in Manhattan. He told me how big the store was going to be, but I’ve forgotten it. Suffice to say, it will be a big store. I wonder if it will be as big as their London flagship store at Oxford Circus…I’m sure New Yorkers will be pleased! =)

i suggest Power Plant Mall in Rockwell, Podium & Robinson’s Galleria because they also carry Topman
more choices, more fun. hehehe…

hi. just received an email, there will be a sale on Aug. 1,2,3 at Topshop/Topman. Aug. 1 will be exclusive (an invite was sent) and will be open to all on Aug. 2 & 3. So excited. See u all there.
