“Portable” Queso de Bola

Whether or not it’s Christmas, I love snacking on queso de bola. I like eating it on its own, or with pan de sal. Sometimes I even gnaw on little slivers melted for less than a minute in the microwave to get a mozzarella-like consistency. This addiction became easier to indulge after I discovered the Queso De Bola Spread of La Cocina de Tita Moning. It’s exactly like regular queso de bola, from the sharp taste to the pungent smell, except the shape is different. The cheese is already melted and poured into a jar, ready to be spread anytime on pan de sal for breakfast, or plopped on mini crostinis to serve at parties.
