New Stores at Rockwell’s Lifestyle Wing (Part 2!)

by Cherry Pacheco-Uy

SAPATO MANILA/COCO & TRES

Partners Nikki de Guzman, Theresa Santos, Joyce Mendoza, and Jennifer Sarmiento are the creative minds behind SAPATO MANILA shoes. Of course, with shoes come matching bags, too. So Jennifer decided to design coordinating bags under the label COCO & TRES. Together, they come up with collections that are laid-back yet urban, classic yet stylishly up-to-date.

1. Who buys from you? Our market is really broad, it ranges from teens and moms who like our ballet flats and sandals, to career women who like our heels and wedges.

2. Hot seller of the month/season? Our best seller for summer was our Sol Bronze Sandal (P 1000) and our 3-in-1 belt/clutch/shoulder bag (P 1350). We needed to rerun these styles several times since a lot of customers were looking for them.

3. Complete the sentence: “We are so over…” pointed shoes and “logo” bags (bags with logos printed all over them).

  16. marie Says:

I love MAUD by Mitzi Quilendrino! They only have 1-2 pcs per size per style so the chances are slim you’ll bump into someone wearing the same thing, which i totally like. Team Manila has great shirts as well, and very affordable pa.

  17. caroline gothong Says:

argh! so totally love ilaya! problem is im from cebu, why dont they sell online or better yet, sell their product in cebu?!

  18. fay destreza Says:

i fell in love with Ilaya’s boleros the moment it was featured by Daphne Osena in F. Sadly, i still have to go there in makati all the way from Baguio just to buy their stuff. I so hope that they will eventually offer their goods online so i could have more of their stuff, moreso now that they already have capes; so suited for the climate here…

I love Filipino designs! Lately, my obsession has been Filipino-designed/made clothes and bags and shoes. I live nearby Rockwell so I am a big fan of the Lifestyle section. Consistently fashionable, and classy are: Ilaya, Mimi, Sapato Manila, Cole Vintage and Details. I’m a big fan of Cole Vintage which can be found in Rob Galleria 5th Avenue, and at the Fort. I went to the recent Rockwell Bazaar and bought a Cole Vintage get up and Get Happy Imelda accessory to top the outfit. Love it! Worth noting also were the bangles that were sold there. I forgot the name of the designer but they had this Audrey Hepburn bangles which is really worth the collection of Audrey Hepburn finds. Outside was “Baka” stickers and pins which really were quite interesting. I wish I could catch them again in the next bazaar openings in town.

  21. Angelic Says:
