Marni is the beloved poodle of partners Louis Claparols and Bobby Carlos, hence the name Marni’s Closet. The store sells re-worked vintage pieces that fashion forward Japanese women seem to love. (Twice I visited the store, and both times I saw Japanese women trying things on.) It also carries pre-owned designer shoes and bags—Fendi, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana—in excellent condition, at fairly reasonable prices (from P3, 500 up).

We set a date for Marni and Diego to meet, and to model Irene’s dog-outfits together. But due to unavoidable circumstances, Marni couldn’t make it. In other words, my little Diego got stood up (poor pup). In the meantime, Diego will be content with Marni’s frou-frou French-poodle-cut silhouette perched at the top of the store, and will have something to look forward to during our next visit.

Cru earrings designs are SO LIKE the metal ones my mom collected back in the 80s and have started wearing again! Are these new designs or revivals/recycled (80s vintage)?

wow… the jeans are so pricey. They’re definitely cheaper to shop at Macy’s or Nordstrom’s here in the US. If you get a chance to go to LA, visit Kitson… they have the best selection of contemporary designer jeans. Paris Hilton gets her jeans there. Or Loehmann’s. they could go from $90-$130.
