Toys R Us is Coming to Us

Oh dear, here it comes. Toys R Us is finally opening in Manila on July 1st (it was supposed to open in April). We still remember our first Toys R Us experience. In Taipei, of all places. They had shopping bags big enough to fit our thirteen-year-old bodies inside. Wow! They were selling toys by the grocery cart-ful. Double wow! But this was no match for our first glimpse of the Toys R Us flagship store in Times Square, NYC. Two-storey Barbie dollhouse! Life-size Tyrannosaurus Rex! A full-blown ferris wheel inside the store!
It’s every kid’s dream come true…and every parent’s nightmare? Mums and dads, brace yourselves for the onslaught of pester power when the greatest toy store in the world opens its doors on our shores. When the kids come a-begging, just remember, you were a kid once, too. Before we became ShopCrazy, we were toy crazy. It’s been over fifteen years since the day we first stepped inside a Toys R Us, but we’ve never forgotten it. And we’ll be there on opening day to relive the moment!
The first Toys R Us in the Philippines will open in Robinsons Galleria on July 1, 2006.

Does it open on the 1st of July? Banners around Ortigas Center has June 30 as the opening date. Oh well, can’t wait! I’m a kid at heart and I’ve always LOVED Toys R’ Us!

It’s true! Our flagship store located at the 4th level of Robinsons Galleria opens to the public on June 30. It’s like a sneak preview of the “World’s Greatest Toy Store” now in Manila before the store’s Grand Opening on July 1. We will be happy to serve you starting June 30.

Was sad that this store opened when I wasn’t there. The toys’r us branch here in Qatar doesn’t carry a lot of items that sparks the kid in me.

it’s such a shame that the phil. store it does not live up to the standards of toys’r us. It even has no website and more so no facility for online ordering. the place is too small for Toys’ R Us standards. wonder how they got a franchise.

My daughter, son-in-law, and two grandbabies just moved to the Philippines…in Calumet. It costs a fortune to ship anything from the US, and was ecstatic to learn that there’s a Toys r Us in Manila! Is there a website I can go to in order to shop there to purchase gifts for my family? I could either pay by credit card or by wiring cash to the store. Then, if you deliver, great, but if not, they could pick up items. Is this the Toys R Us in the Mall of Asia? Thanks so much!

Does toys “r” us Philippines have stocks of the Guitar Hero 4 World Tour Band Kit for the Playstation 2? baby Alive is available at Kids Station, Rustans, Toy Kingdom, Im not sure of TRU. it has 3 varieties, biggest one is 3,599. and the next is around 2K and next is 1,600 sumthn

My Life is available in the Richwell toy warehouse sale at 20% discount I’m just not sure if the sale is on-going until now. Baby alive is available in Toys R Us in galleria.
