At the Cosmo offices, we love to eat. That’s why I don’t usually wear lipstick in the daytime. The waxy combination of pigment plus the thought of having to reapply frequently just doesn’t sit well with the scrumptious goodies people bring in.
That’s why I fell in love with Lancôme Potion of Love (no kidding that’s the name) the minute I tested it. The fun part about this job is literally getting to play with makeup at work. So this afternoon, while doing September’s beauty lineup, I smoothed on this stay-put, velvety lip treat. If you’re curious, it initially tastes like sweet mango, and later on disappears into a fabulous, budge-proof, just-been-bitten lip stain. It’s also lightweight so you forget it’s there—perfect if you, too, have that particular concern about food tasting just the way it should.

My boyfriend stopped taking me out to the movie theater. He just got himself a 32-inch LCD flat TV. It is marvelous. And the movies we watch on it just got more amazing. That’s why I’ve also stopped haunting shopping malls—with our very own spectacular home theater (and the convenience of pausing a movie when you need to go to the loo!), it makes more sense to stay home and watch DVDs!
