Mural of the Story

mural-of-the-story-01.jpgI was lying in bed one Sunday afternoon staring at my blank wall and all I can think during that time was—blank. My wall is too blank. I told myself when I had it repainted that I want it plain and simple, something soothing and relaxing. I got so relaxed that a few months later, it became so boring. Thinking about it, my home is too simple for my adrenalin charged personality. I need something to cope with it. The blank wall where I was staring at was no help.

Then I thought of a mural. Yet having an artist’s hand signatured on my wall can cost me a fortune. It was in the middle of that desperate moment when I found this cost efficient alternative—mural stickers. Billboards don’t really charge per square inch just like paintings right? Same concept. Digital artworks printed on matte sticker attached to your wall. And yes, you can have the artwork suit your personality. They can take a picture of the material you want to play with, clean it in the computer and attach it on your wall.

Viktor-01.jpgQuestion: Why pay P4,000+ for a pair of locally-made jeans, if you can buy an imported pair for less?

Answer: Because “a good pair of Viktor can get you laid.”

Viktor-02.jpg

So goes the mantra at VIKTOR, where jeans are custom-designed to fit each client so that figure flaws are minimized, assets enhanced. In fact, each pair of VIKTOR jeans comes with a 15-day warranty: during this period, you can bring your jeans back for adjustments for free. (Beyond 15 days, alterations will be charged a minimal fee of P300.)

These Shoes are Made to be Stared at…

Heelz-Hobbo-01.jpgLook at that heel! Just look at that intricate, gorgeous heel. Never has so much attention been given to the lowly heel, which is often unnoticed and overlooked in a shoe. But Heelz, a fab new upscale footwear brand from local shoe manufacturer Le Donne, has zeroed in on the heel as its focal selling point. And what attention it has given! Rich embellishments, ranging from crystals to filigreed metal sheets wrap and adorn unique heel contours. Each shoe is like an art piece. You’ll be tempted to store them in a glass shoebox for display. But then again, where’s the fun in that? Wear them on a night out—either to a dinner date or a fancy cocktail party. With all the envious stares you’ll be getting, you’ll surely have the best night of your life.
