The thing about home stores is that when you visit their store every month, most likely, there will only be two items that are new on the floor. The ones on the racks are faster to move than the bigger ones (example: furniture pieces). Usually, it will take about two months for them to actually sell an item. Sometimes, even a year. So if they don’t rigodon their furniture every so often, the next time you visit a home store, what you saw before is what you will see again.
The best thing to do is to scout for new stores. The ones that are obscurely located are usually the ones with the one-of-a-kind home accessories. Accept it, when it comes to home decor, the word generic should always be kept inside the medicine cabinet! Go for the ones that speak character. (more…)
