We’ve all had a rough night’s sleep at some point. We could blame caffeine or stress or someone else’s snoring, but it might help to take a look at the mattress we’re sleeping on. We tend to spend loads of money on the bed frame without paying much attention to our mattresses. But investing in a good mattress could very well mean waking up completely refreshed each morning.
Tempur is one mattress that’s definitely worth the investment. Originally developed by NASA to relieve the pressure of G-forces experienced by astronauts, it’s made of a visco-elastic material that conforms to your body. Regular foam or spring mattresses tend to fight back when you lie on them, pushing upwards; Tempur mattresses don’t exert any counter-pressure, so you don’t get those pressure points that are the culprits of backaches and other pains.
Recommended by over 30,000 medical doctors and other specialists worldwide, Tempur is said to relieve tossing and turning by 80% and snoring by 75%! Studies also show that it helps alleviate back and neck pains. On a personal note, it’s the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever lain down on! Try it out for yourself at the Tempur Space Cabin, equipped with mattresses and pillows so you can get a taste of the Tempur experience.
They’ve got a wide range of pillows and mattresses in several sizes, and even stuff for traveling. Expectant mommies might want to try the pillows especially designed for pregnant women—they’re supposed to help relieve back pains.
After shopping for a mattress, you might want to dress it up a little. Check out The Comfy Co., a home store from sisters Jovi Romero and Linda C. Medallo (the duo behind Danilyn’s custom furnishings). They specialize in soft furnishings—customized beddings, pillows, curtains, and furniture in classic designs with a young feel.
Sweet dreams!

Hi! I think their pillows are about P5,000. Mattresses start at about P50,000, if I’m not mistaken. But really, can you put a price on a good night’s sleep, every night?:)

The mattress is quite pricey.
