Shopcrazies, here’s a bazaar that lets you get a head start on Christmas shopping and help a worthy cause, too. See message below from Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala of I Can Serve, the breast cancer advocacy group.
Tickled Pink, a benefit bazaar for and by the I Can Serve foundation, will be held on October 14 and 15, 2006, Saturday and Sunday at the Loft in Rockwell. The bazaar will be open from 10 am to 10 pm. Find clothing labels like Alberta Ferretti, Anna Molinari, Anna Sui, BCBG, Catherine Malandrino, Chloe, Diane Von Furstenberg, Emporio Armani, Issey Miyake, Kenzo, Marc Jacobs, Marni, Max Mara, Max & Co., Missoni, Moschino, Paul & Joe, Philosophy, Rebecca Taylor, Sonia Rykiel, and Tsumori Chisato.
For an entrance fee of P50, shoppers get to browse and buy from a wide array of fashion accessories by Bettina Osmeña, Victoria Marin Collection Inc. Avatar Accessories Incorporated Silverbox; bags by Talimaya Gift and Fashion Accessories, Ching Feliciano, Martinique International; designer clothes imported by Camille Genuino; and home accessories by ELM’s Accessoria De Casa, Tadeco, Auxie Burgos’s 3A’s Craft Accents, Rapal Handicrafts, and Pottery Barn; tailored blouses by Vanessa del Rosario and beaded shirts by Joanne Tengco; and Perla Rempe’s The Farm of San Benito.
Tickled Pink is envisioned to be I Can Serve’s flagship fund-raising project annually. I Can Serve is an advocacy group that empowers women with breast cancer and women cancer-related information so they can have a voice in their own health care. Working through volunteers who are cancer survivors themselves like Bettina Osmeña, Kara Magsanoc-Alikpala and Vergel de Dios, its mission is to arm women with breast care health and breast cancer information so they can make informed decisions about their health. I Can Serve also provides access to special services that will help the breast cancer survivor recover and heal more effectively.
Tickled Pink is sponsored by PCSO, Florasilk Inc., Goody Products Phils., HSBC, Southeast Asia Food, Inc., Lufthansa, Cynthia Villar, Mario Badescu, 92.3 Joey, Philippine School of Interior Design, Jamaican Patties, Fruit Magic, Nokia Philippines, Philippine Daily Inquirer, and Rockwell Land Corporation, Pagcor.
