Nope, Not Seeing Anybody Right Now

wife isn’t better—it could be, potentially. But the point is that being single isn’t half-bad. And if you’re single (like I am) you really don’t have to feel silly about it. Feeling silly about being single is strictly optional! Opt out! Let the world know!

And get yourself a Singelringen. Which, summoning all my brain power, I have deduced means “single ring” in Swedish. Founded in 2005 by Johan Wahlbäck, Singelringen manufactures the eponymous ring—a cool, spare, modern-looking band made of silver, with a translucent azure-colored acrylic layer gleaming on top. Wahlbäck came up with the idea of a ring for single people when he realized that single men and women (unlike their married and engaged friends) went about their business with naked ring fingers. Why not make a ring that allowed single people to let the world know that they were single, and having a great time of it?
