It’s not quite Nora vs. Vilma, Pacquiao vs. Morales, or even Kapuso vs. Kapamilya, but in the world of ShopCrazy, these are the stars we would toss into the mosh pit for entertainment. Manila became a lot better-dressed since these three came to town, but alas, we do love our petty rivalries, don’t we? So, here goes:
(Dear Topshop/Zara/Mango: We’re just playing, okay? Don’t hate us. Love, ShopCrazy)

October 20th, 2006 at 5:10 pm
this is a tough choice but i think i’ll choose topshop because it has the cheapest stuff among the three so i can get more for my P50k. i can then use my own cash (not the genie’s gc’s) to buy from zara.
October 20th, 2006 at 5:39 pm
I choose Zara. Perhaps it’s the smell of authentic (?) leather that draws me. Or the endless shelves and racks of clothes. And when I’m in Zara, I feel like I’m in heaven, floating. Do you experience the same feeling when you go in Topshop and/or Mango?
October 20th, 2006 at 5:53 pm
I have 3 daughters and we all love Mango. There’s something in it for all of us (even for a grandma like me!). We just go bananas (or should I say, Mangoes?) when they have a sale.
October 20th, 2006 at 6:15 pm
I choose Zara because not only can I shop for myself but for my husband and son as well.
October 20th, 2006 at 6:25 pm
I like the quality of the fabrics in Mango shops and the designs of Topshop are quite unique but overall I would favor Mango as I have not yet gone to see Zara’s shops. Mind you, I have gone only to the Mango outlets in Bangkok and Beijing where the prices are just unbelievable when the items go on sale, so I believe that at Mango, you get value for money paid.
October 20th, 2006 at 6:27 pm
I chose MANGO simply because i personally think they have the most complete line of girly stuff for kikays like me,from tops to shoes, even perfume. But i’d like to spend it during their SALE Season so I can buy more stuff with my 50k GCs
October 20th, 2006 at 6:46 pm
I choose ZARA bec they have more stunning pieces for WOMEN, as im in my late 30s already. Topshop really is for young girls. Mango is in between, but i find their selection very limited. With ZARA, you always seem to end up panic buying bec there’s always sooooooo many fab outfits for each season! Even their shoes & bags selection is very very wide. Im quite proud to say that Manila’s ZARA collection every season is up-to-date with what’s in the stores in Madrid & Barcelona. They are exactly the same. I am witness to this.
October 20th, 2006 at 7:09 pm
ZARA!!! Because it’s a combination of all styles a smart fashionable woman could ever need. Their pieces include classics, laid-back, preppy, romantic ruffles,…….
October 20th, 2006 at 7:21 pm
I voted Mango because not only they have branches in big cities of Philippines but they do have also a lot of branches in different cities of Europe! which definitely means very accessible shops! Guess how many shops they have in Germany? All cities you can imagine! (not less-than 20!) Unfortunately Zara has atleast 3 shops i am aware of (in the whole of Germany though). I go ga-ga over their sale season as the prices go lower than the prices in manila! I guess the 50k (Euro 800) GC from the genie will get a long way here.
October 20th, 2006 at 8:29 pm
I love mango, though its a european brand it fits me really well. I like the quality of the items they offer, especially the basics that just suits my style of dressing. 50k will get me loads of investment stuff i can use for a long time!
October 20th, 2006 at 9:33 pm
I’m choosing Topshop because the styles are really appropriate for my age, and they have clothes that fit me really well.
October 20th, 2006 at 10:16 pm
I choose ZARA ‘coz i just love those dresses for my 4 month old baby!
October 20th, 2006 at 11:23 pm
I vote for Mango! I stopped oggling for Topshop when I learned that in the UK it’s actually a shop that sells “crap” clothes. Synonymous daw to bad quality and bad design.
October 20th, 2006 at 11:49 pm
Topshop - its cooler.
second would be Zara - I love the shoes!
October 21st, 2006 at 12:16 am
I voted Zara coz the 50k will go a long way for me & my family. Zara Woman for me, Zara Men for hubby and Zara Kids for my li’l girl.
Not to mention that their clothes are very well worth the money…and the shoes! Mmmmmm…dee-vine designs! Love love the smell of genuine leather.:-)
Plus! The staff are very efficient and courteous. And I love it that I can go around the store without having to wrestle for space with other shoppers. And the clothes spread throughout the store makes for a breezy shopping experience. It’s really tiring to push back numerous hangers in a jampacked rack.
October 21st, 2006 at 2:38 am
i have to go with zara. i have been enthralled by the store when i first went to their store in in santa monica. for some reason zara stores makes feel like i walked into a place where i could get everything i want and walk out of their store happy and content. i was so happy that they opened stores in manila as it really is a lovely place to shop and window shop as well.
October 21st, 2006 at 5:53 am
i love these three brands!! their clothes are stylish and colorful. but i would really have the opportunity to spend such an amount of money i would choose zara. they offer fashion with really good quality. i’m not saying that the quality of topshop isn’t good. it is good. but i know from experience that come of mango’s clothes aren’t that properly sued. zara never disappointed me. it has a lot to offer for everyone it’s hard to leave the shop without buying something!!
October 21st, 2006 at 10:17 am
MANGO’s the best. I voted for MANGO because I love their stuff. My mom loves it too. I have 2 trench coats from them that I absolutely loooove! although I can only use it on super cold days.
October 21st, 2006 at 10:26 am
i chose Topshop because the clothes are not only stylish but it also fits really well
October 21st, 2006 at 10:49 am
senorita: i think that was before. today, topshop is known for being affordable, but not actually having completely bad products.
October 21st, 2006 at 11:12 am
From International Herald Tribune, 9/20/06:
Kate Moss to design for Topshop
LONDON - Kate Moss, now the world’s most famous model, is moving into fashion. The British chain Topshop, which spearheaded the current fast-fashion craze, has signed Moss to create a clothing line that will debut in spring 2007. Philip Green, the high profile owner of the Arcadia Group, which owns Topshop, announced the deal on Wednesday, saying: “Kate has a unique position as a true fashion icon.” He plans not only to carry the “Kate Moss for Topshop” label in his 308 stores, but to make it into a global brand. Green already has announced plans to open a flagship Topshop store in New York. “I love what they stand for. It’s going to be fun,” said Moss, 32. “I have always been a big fan of Topshop and regularly shop there.” Moss is known for her cool put-together outfits, from cutoff denim shorts and boots at the Glastonbury Rock Festival to designer clothes from her friend, John Galliano of Dior. Yet a year ago Moss was in disgrace after allegations of cocaine use and advertisers withdrew her lucrative advertising contracts. Ironically, it was H&M, Topshop’s arch rival, that ended a Moss campaign in response to pressure from parental groups concerned about the drugs-are-cool message that might be passed to impressionable teenagers.
Do you think the local Topshop will carry the Kate Moss designs? Wonder what the price range will be.
October 21st, 2006 at 11:35 am
Actually, I don’t have any particular favorite among the 3 brands. I like them all as variety is the spice of life. However, I must say that Topshop is at a disadvantage in our country due to the size of their stores. If you’ve ever seen the Topshop flagship store in Oxford St., Central London, you’ll see that they not only have a lot of items to offer, but also that their styles run the entire gamut of fashion. They support young designers who sell under their own labels for Topshop, they have a true vintage shop, they have a premium collection…I know that we will never see them have a store as big as the London flagship here, but the current store sizes get in the way of their presenting with authority what Topshop’s really all about. Sometimes it feels like they want to present too many collection themes all at once, within cramped quarters. Because of that, Mango and Zara may always look better and offer a better shopping environment for a lot of people.
October 21st, 2006 at 12:45 pm
Zara for me. I love their clothes, even if some are a little pricey. Zara’s blazers and jackets for women are really good investments.
October 21st, 2006 at 3:13 pm
Zara for me as well ; ) i love their classic and elegant styles and you have a wide range of items you can choose from.
Mango is nice also but i just hate it coz their other tops are copied by fake ones and you can usually see a lot of people wearing it around.
October 21st, 2006 at 3:35 pm
I chose Topshop because I think that’s more my style. Plus their clothes fit me well. And I think they’ve got really cute stuff
Though Mango was a really close second
October 21st, 2006 at 4:14 pm
Be it for the fit, designs, selections or quality, Zara tops it all for me. Don’t you just break out in “oooh’s and aaaah’s” whenever you see their fabulous clothes on the racks? : )
October 21st, 2006 at 8:15 pm
well i vote for mango wer you could find unique design and dats it wich best for all types of body built….
October 21st, 2006 at 11:32 pm
Topshop definitely…Mango and Zara are too safe (for the typical pinay girl). Topshop is super fashion.
October 22nd, 2006 at 12:40 am
You’re right on that patpie! Topshop is stylish and the designs are edgy compared to Mango and Zara. Topshop is indeed for the Pinay Fashionista!
October 22nd, 2006 at 12:46 am
woohoooo for Topshop!
October 22nd, 2006 at 3:45 am
I’d go for all of them really. Everytime I’d go by their shops, I’d wish to shop clothes from all of them. It’s something I can’t afford even if it’s on sale
I’m, undeniably a cheapstake haha
October 22nd, 2006 at 5:48 am
I chose Zara. I have a tendency towards the neo-preppy style so that definitely crosses out Topshop. Zara’s clothes simply outdo Mango’s. They have so many great choices from trendy to classic pieces. Too bad I can’t afford them on a regular basis! hehe Although I think their shoes are overrated, too expensive! Not worth it for the quality and comfort they give (if any). I used to go to Mango’s sale a lot though. However, I just hate the owners, Tekeli and his children. Ang susungit! I’ve seen him humiliate customers and employees again and again. Somebody please teach him a lesson!
October 22nd, 2006 at 12:18 pm
I used to love MANGO then I discovered ZARA during my visits to Singapore.
I was so excited when I heard that the Rustan’s group is bringing ZARA to Manila. ZARA has a wider range of clothes compared to MANGO, from the classics, business wear, travel wear, accessories, men’s, children’s and even their hip TRL line.
I still love MANGO but I’m loving ZARA even more now.
October 22nd, 2006 at 7:50 pm
this is a bit tough. i voted for Mango coz i remember the time when i saw the newly opened mall of asia branch and i just drooled all over the fall collection and hated the fact that we live in a tropical country..haha
October 22nd, 2006 at 9:07 pm
I’d still go for MANGO!!!! MANGO!!!
Comfort. Style. Fit.
I always get noticed when I’m in my best MNG wear.
I think some clothes in Zara are for the professionals, simply working people. Not so alluring and appealing. Although, I love the clothes in their kid’s section. Fits my niece.
As for TOopshop, I just like their short skirts. But the tops are quite for big-sized women.
One can never go wrong with MNG– whether its just a simple plain shirt.
October 22nd, 2006 at 9:10 pm
I used to love Mango but now I am a Topshop gal. I voted for Topshop because the trends never go out of style. Topshop clothes fits me well, and the accesories are so fabulous!
October 22nd, 2006 at 9:20 pm
Mango of course! It fit my wifey perfectly!
She spends more than a hundred thou every year for MNG.
October 22nd, 2006 at 9:20 pm
Mango of course! It fits my wifey perfectly!
She spends more than a hundred thou every year for MNG.
October 22nd, 2006 at 9:22 pm
Mommy loves MNG. Daddy and I find Mommy more appealing in MNG.
Though, Wacky loves ZARA for kids!
October 22nd, 2006 at 10:42 pm
Topshop is never afraid to bare it all compared to the other two. And that’s why I am for Topshop.
October 23rd, 2006 at 12:19 am
It was a tough choice between Zara and Topshop, but I chose Zara. Mango’s clothes are so repetitive– except for a season’s key pieces, it’s easy to find something extremely similar to a previous collection in the current one. As for Topshop, I love their designs, but I honestly can’t imagine myself wearing them. Zara is honestly the best choice for me, because it has everything I want, and they have excellent sizing– plus, there’s the fact that their staff is amazing, especially at finding things.
October 23rd, 2006 at 8:06 am
If I was a girl, I would definitely wear Topshop clothes. Kaya lang, I’m not so I drag my sister there every time we go shopping then style her up! hihi…
October 23rd, 2006 at 9:49 am
i’d choose mango because i could buy more there and the quality of their products are good. and also, zara do mass production.
October 23rd, 2006 at 3:38 pm
It’s topshop for me! But I agree, their stores are so small!
October 23rd, 2006 at 6:12 pm
I chose ZARA so I can also shop for my man! Plus you can have a wide variety of clothes from classic staples to funky urban wear. I adore their kids collection, they even fit me! Hehe
October 23rd, 2006 at 6:29 pm
i like topshop because their bottom fits me perfectly unlike MNG, im kindda bet size 2-4
October 23rd, 2006 at 6:32 pm
im kindda alanganin bet size 2-4 plus and i have to get it cut because the length is too long for me though im already tall.
October 24th, 2006 at 12:56 am
Definitely Zara GCs for me! After Zara was introduced in the Philippines, I can’t help but spend every peso in Zara stores. I love Mango and Topshop, but Zara offers new items every week and I just keep coming back for them! I also think that Zara has more to offer to its customers when it comes to clothing (there’s trafaluc, zara man, zara kids, zara woman). Zara is the leading fashion retailer for me!!
October 24th, 2006 at 5:34 pm
of the 3 i’d choose zara because i go for what’s classic. their clothing style suits my personality.
October 24th, 2006 at 6:13 pm
I would love to shop all the way at ZARA!!
ZARA has styles that cater to different personalities, ages, shapes, and sizes.
My mom, most of all people who is not an avid shopper, became one when she saw arrays of different nice clothes at ZARA.
My friends love it, my whole family love it, and buying clothes for them at ZARA would be the nicest, most rewarding thing to do this Christmas!!!
October 24th, 2006 at 7:55 pm
This is such an interesting topic since i actually go to these 3 stores all the time and fill up my closet space.. but right now I’m all for Zara=) I was once a MNG addict and a Topshop girl but im now a convert.. Zara has trf which is like topshop and by the way is affordable too.. Zara’s casual/work/formal clothes are just oh-so fabulous.. A fashionable woman can’t get wrong when she wears Zara.. And what an added bonus.. They have Zara clothes for my guy! Now.. I dont need to drag him to go shopping with me=)
October 24th, 2006 at 11:10 pm
i love zara. i love their stuff. i prefer zara among the three coz their style is in sync with my taste…classic, preppy, sophisticated and stylish. plus, it is a great family experience to shop in just one place. we get to bond with each other.
October 25th, 2006 at 3:29 am
I love all three, but if I had to choose, I’d go with Zara!It mixes flair, fun, and sophistication very well.
October 25th, 2006 at 1:00 pm
topshop, they have so many nice stuff and they are very affordable too… simple yet classic =)
October 25th, 2006 at 3:13 pm
For winter wear I’d definitely choose Zara although I voted for Mango because they already opened a branch in Alabang Town Center, which is near my place ^_^. I don’t know about Topshop. Perhaps they should reinvent their store design to lure in more shoppers.
October 25th, 2006 at 3:27 pm
i’m so in love at Mango! I’m hooked on all their designs!
I haven’t gone @ Zara, while Topshop’s too funky for me. If I were bleseed with 50k worth of GC’s… mango’s my best bet!
October 26th, 2006 at 10:58 am
it’s Zara for me. I love Topshop and Mango as well but in Zara it’s a complete line. I can shop with and for hubby and our darling little princess…they have so many gorgeous stuff for 0-13years… and if the genie hands the 50k to me when Zara’s on sale, im sure it’s gonna be a truly wonderful shopping spreeeeeee!
October 26th, 2006 at 3:02 pm
I’d spend 20k at Topshop for my staples (I’d get the Ts in all cuts in all colors) and the rest at Mango…Sigh~!
October 26th, 2006 at 3:40 pm
Hey guys! I was in Shangri-la last night and I saw that Topshop has re-opened! There are new items in the store and they are all gorgeous!
October 26th, 2006 at 9:19 pm
i bought a loooot of stuff at zara in spain, uk and france and i have to say the quality is fantastic and the fashion is up to the minute. as for my two girls, they’re getting a lot of wear out of the clothes, people always comment on how fantastic they look. the quality is amazing wash after wash. what another person said here is true - topshop is considered CRAP in europe, though up to the minute. mango is appealing because it’s different. when i found out zara is now in philippines, i’m scared of walking in there coz i’m about to go this november!
October 26th, 2006 at 9:38 pm
i think topshop is like the “bench” of europe. just like GAP also. the brand for everyman. the stuff is cheap but the quality is good so a lot of young people shop there. my p.o.v. - doesn’t matter what others consider crap or not crap. just buy what you like because you love it
October 26th, 2006 at 11:34 pm
i vote for Topshop bcause their clothes are way funkier than Zara and mango.before i was a mango fanatic who’d spend tens of thousands everyweek just to have the latest one but since then, everytime i check out mango, puro same style na lang, nakakasawa. on Zara, their clothes are so conservative and boring.. Topshop is the best…and so is TYLER!
October 27th, 2006 at 12:15 am
Zara definitely! You can find anything and everything in Zara, from casual outfits to glamorous ones! I can stay and go through the racks of fabulous clothes the whole day! Plus, my husband doesn’t get bored-to-death in Zara coz he’s busy shopping for his own outfits too!
October 27th, 2006 at 4:11 pm
Those three are all great but i only get to pick one so i chose Zara.. You can find everything in Zara. From casual to bongga! I have a 7 month old daughter and Zara’s definitely for us since they also carry cute, stylish baby clothes..
October 27th, 2006 at 5:55 pm
funny the battle on this poll… when in reality, if you have 50k, it doesnt matter which shop. you can buy from all 3.
October 30th, 2006 at 6:23 pm
64 comments later, and SH has a realization that makes me slap my hand against my head and go, d-oh!
October 30th, 2006 at 8:59 pm
i think the point of having a poll is to make a choice, and since there’s no option that says “all of the above”, buying from all three is not a choice
October 31st, 2006 at 2:26 am
it’s a toss between topshop and mango..but…topshop wins! =-) i definitely love their plain tees! never liked zara. sure, they got the most variety but kinda inconsistent in terms of quality and style. some of their pieces are just silly looking!
chocolate and tyler definitely get my votes too!
happy shopping everyone!
October 31st, 2006 at 7:07 pm
I love Zara! I find the clothes classic with a twist and the fit’s really good.
November 8th, 2006 at 5:44 pm
I love mango because of the nice clothes and cheap bags and their items really lasts for a long time. but i chose zara because i can shop there with my husband and with my daughter. unlike in mango whenever i go there my husband would not go inside with me cause he feels akward entering a store that are supposed to be for ladies only. i hope that mango will also open a clothing line for man and children.
November 8th, 2006 at 7:29 pm
it’s topshop for me. you can always find something that you’d wear over and over again. but when mango goes on sale, i’m there!
November 14th, 2006 at 3:54 am
at the moment, it’ll have to be topshop.
i used to be a mango girl, up until i noticed every other girl wearing the same outfit as me! so i moved to topshop!! funkier and younger styles and not too logo-crazy.
although, i would love to shop at zara but everything i want from the shop is either very “corporate” looking, too big, or too heavy to wear with our climate. hmph. if i still had my 9-5 job, i’d definitely be a zara girl..oh..i meant woman. haha.
November 20th, 2006 at 7:02 pm
love mango!
November 28th, 2006 at 3:35 pm
i love all three but at this time, it’ll have to be Zara since they have more choices (maybe except for the lack of bags). They have casual clothes and very dreamy dresses. Love their coats and boots but sadly not wearable here in the Pinas. Until now am still debating on whether or not boots will be a good buy.
November 29th, 2006 at 5:49 pm
I luv ZARA and TOPSHOP!!!!
November 29th, 2006 at 8:20 pm
I vote for mango! I just love the designs. There was one time when I got so addicted to it that I shopped there twice or thrice a week. Next is Zara then Topshop
December 12th, 2006 at 2:56 pm
is the mango dec sale goin to happen anytime soon?
December 18th, 2006 at 4:40 pm
This reply is a lil late but i chose Mango because they have my size…most of the time
the tops at Zara are too big at times. Have only bought a handful of tops and bottoms there. Topshop is also great but…like I said…my sizes are available most of the time at Mango. It differs from style to style though…sometimes i’m a XXS, XS or a S. But sometimes i get a top in M if i like it more loose!
December 20th, 2006 at 11:08 pm
when’s the dec sale of mango?
December 24th, 2006 at 12:27 pm
i heard that the mango sale will start dec 29
December 25th, 2006 at 12:34 am
i chose topshop wel just for this season actually…i would regularly pick zara but i cant seem to find anything i like there this season…its depressing!
December 26th, 2006 at 1:50 am
i pick ZARA..c0s there atmosphere der is so great..unlike mango..cos usually when i go there..the clothes are like messily hanging anywhere..its like they’re always on sale everytime i go there..suddenly im not in the mood to shop.no offence guys!and zara’s ambiance..i dont know..it gives u a much sophisticated..chic feeling..plus they have good sizings!
December 26th, 2006 at 4:05 am
hello there…mango and zara are on sale up to feb 07 but it’s happening here in Dubai amazing 50% off on all items…
December 26th, 2006 at 11:00 am
when is sale of zara?
January 11th, 2007 at 8:21 pm
Topshop sale starts tomorrow, Jan. 12! I can’t wait to check out their stuff
January 11th, 2007 at 8:38 pm
Topshop is supposedly somewhat of a “Target” in Europe. It’s very afforable when the prices are in pounds but the exchange rate makes it an expensive brand in the Philippines.
January 11th, 2007 at 9:14 pm
love ‘em all =)
January 11th, 2007 at 10:27 pm
I don’t think it’s actually like ‘Target’. There are cheaper brands like Primark and Next. In the local scene, Topshop is probably like People are People or Folded & Hung, while Target is more like Bench. At least, that’s what my friends over there tells me.
January 17th, 2007 at 10:41 pm
i chose zara because they have a wider selection of really pretty clothes, shoes and bags. and the quality is really good too. mango used to be a good store, but since, like, two years ago their stuff have become mediocre and the quality isnt as good as it was, stitches are not in place, the leather not quite that good and the zippers always break. topshop is a nice little shop but theres not that much variety in their clothes. zara is the best
January 18th, 2007 at 2:07 am
ZARA!!! my goodness, how can mommies like me not love zara for it’s uber cute line of kids’ clothing! i wish i weren’t so financially-challenged (haha) so i’d be able to get my li’l girl a whole new zara wardrobe, hehe :p
January 18th, 2007 at 6:46 am
omg, ZARA definitely!ü bags and shoes are oh-so-beautiful! guranteed.=)
and yeah, psy’s right.. used to love MNG but their stuffs are not as good..
=(
January 18th, 2007 at 3:58 pm
zara anytime!!! everything from pumps, to flats, to bags, to shorts and tops and nice kiddies clothes. and the service is great too!
February 3rd, 2007 at 11:17 pm
cheapest cialis…
news…
February 7th, 2007 at 5:12 pm
hello, iwas in dubai last year but i did not know wher to shop.plaese id want to know wher topshop, zara and mango shops are in dubai.i wnt to know when is the next sales and wher to get mens shoes from cos i plan to come in next month
February 7th, 2007 at 9:16 pm
I think the collection of mng right now is better than their previous collections, I have been shopping in zara, top shop and of course lets not forget dorothy perkins! the sizes of are friendlier to chubby ones like me and also the price is much more affordable =)
February 8th, 2007 at 12:54 am
ZARA hands down….aside from the fact that they have possibly every trend you can think of, everyone seems to be able to give you fashion advice when needed…it is such a pleasure visually and is truly a shopping mecca…..Topshop’s clothes are very limited and borders on tacky sometimes though they do have good accessories…MNG usually has great windows but their kind of customer service leaves much to be desired…
March 24th, 2007 at 8:04 pm
Nice site. You are doing a great service to the web
March 26th, 2007 at 10:21 pm

ilove MANGO
April 23rd, 2007 at 8:20 pm
ooohhh. Mango is now open in davao! at SM city davao. too bad Zara and Topshop won’t invest here in Davao. I love Zara! When I visit manila, Zara is THE venue!haha wide variety of awesome bags, clothes and shoes. I lorve their bags! super!

I wouldlike to comment that Topshop does not have a reputation in the UK for inferior quality clothing. The brand is well known for its cutting edge affordable clothing. It is the only brand on the high street to lead the way in terms of trends and up to the second fashions. If it was poor quaity, i’m sure it wouldn’t be a favourite amoung stars such as Beyonce Knowles, Gwen Stefani, Lindsay Lohan, Kate Moss and Jennifer Lopez.

I love MANGO because their prices drop rock bottom when they go on sale !!! and their items are not crappy even if their on sale
July 3rd, 2007 at 8:26 am
i guess it has to be zara. mango and topshop does not have many alternatives for people pursuing different professions. Moreover, their designs tend to be boring at times that you really have to rummage into their pile of clothes for a fab find. zara on the other hand, has consistently been able to cater to the needs of all potential clients, be it young professionals, students, men, and babies…Plus, wherever you are in the world, zara has consistently maintained its, clean, fresh and fab designs all through out.
July 9th, 2007 at 2:59 am
Zara of course. Although Zara in Manila is a bit overpriced - it’s way cheaper in the UK
I love that they have everything for everyone - trendy and classic, men, women and children. The quality is also better compared to topshop.
July 9th, 2007 at 9:20 am
I love MANGO!! specially if they’re on Sale!
July 16th, 2007 at 5:59 pm
i love zara esp. on sale, they have good quality products and even if they’re a bit pricey they are all worth it. i love ZARA so much!
August 11th, 2007 at 9:20 pm
mango is becoming like giordano nowadays, topshop is good but i’ll go for zara. they have portrayed elite fashion on a budget-friendly price.
August 17th, 2007 at 12:07 pm
yup yup yup
i love Zara for everything.
next is topshop (tops and cute footwear), and my least fave’s mango (except for their accessories).
August 29th, 2007 at 9:47 am
Love Tyler. I went home for vaca last March and my friends urged me to visit Tyler (they know me so well…I’m a shopaholic!). Anyways, so I did. I was browsing around and didn’t really see something that caught my eye, but then this woman brought out folded pieces. I started trying them on and voila!…I ended up buying all that I tried on. It’s just so weird that they don’t just hang them up. My friends told me about that store’s strategy of making you feel special but I thought it was ludicrous and a bit discriminatory, which I didn’t like. But their pieces are fabulous, so what the heck! I’m now back in my second home (NYC) and everytime I wear those pieces I bought somebody asks where I got them. One person even commented that one of my outfits was so “Jackie O.” How I wish they’ll go online!
September 16th, 2007 at 1:34 pm
Those three are actually in the list of my favorite brands and if I can out of the three of them, I’d pick… Zara. There are just so many choices and I really love the clothes there.
September 16th, 2007 at 2:26 pm
ZARA, TOPSHOP and MANGO are all fabulous but for a young working lady like me, ZZZZZ is tops! I have started to create classic wardrobe out of ZARA (basic items every woman should have; though pricey, it’s very much worth it-high-quality cloth & cut) and can just buy colorful, funky pieces I see from Topshop and Mango.
September 16th, 2007 at 3:16 pm
zara of course!
October 28th, 2007 at 1:10 pm
i love Mango and Zara. i think theyre cheaper than topshop. lol. most of my stuff are from Mango but i noticed that when you buy tops from Mango and wash them, they start to get so maluwag. So im more on Zara right now. and i love how Zara have all these different types of clothes, and they have TRF which has really cool designs. Plus my dad loves to buy from Zara too. so its perfect. LOL. :))
November 10th, 2007 at 9:01 pm
i don’t really shop at topshop. i like zara and mango more :))
November 10th, 2007 at 9:26 pm
ZARA, forever. ;p
November 14th, 2007 at 9:17 pm
I’d go for Zara, because they’ve got more stuff that suits many kinds of people. I just love it there.
Mango’s clothes aren’t as nice as they used to be before. Now, I can never buy anything when I’m there, ’cause I don’t like what’s on display.
Top Shop, I’m not too crazy about. There aren’t a lot of choices, since everything looks like what tiangges copy, and the prints look a bit tacky.
November 23rd, 2007 at 5:27 am
TYLER!
It’s classy and proudly Filipino. I’ve seen tacky stuff from Mango and Top Shop but never from Tyler. Check out their shops in Rockwell and Glorietta.
November 26th, 2007 at 11:11 pm
i love zara trl !!! the jackets and tops are cool!…
December 14th, 2007 at 4:33 pm
Hi hi…any idea when is Zara sales coming? MNG sales on 2 days ago!!!
December 14th, 2007 at 5:02 pm
honestly, i used to really really hate those shops because the prices are way too steep for my budget. even the basic tee costs so much. but once i got here in singapore, i fell in love with zara! so great! and the price here is way affordable than that of mango. topshop is just way too colorful for me, and back home some of the cuts are really not for petite gals like me…so for me ZARA rules!
January 2nd, 2008 at 1:50 pm

January 27th, 2008 at 1:24 pm
ZARA!!! it’s simply the BEST store on earth! when im in zara, i feel like im in a big mall with everything i need and i want in it. GLAM fashion designs!
January 27th, 2008 at 3:00 pm
hi madhu! is the mango branch in robinsons starmills really an outlet store? as in they sell discounted clothes all year long? is it true they have a topshop outlet too?
January 28th, 2008 at 1:03 pm
ZARA has some pretty pieces, but most of their stuffs are too stiff and formal to wear on a weekend, and when u do wear it to a formal occasion, its kinda difficult to wear it again. MNG is colorful and more laid back, but sometimes the fit isn’t that nice. ZARA has better fit, especially their pants. so, i think its a draw between the two. i love them both! Topshop? not really a fan.

February 11th, 2008 at 3:50 am
1. Zara - 80%
2. Mango - 20%
3. Topshop - 0
I’ve never bought anything from Topshop. From Mango, i’ll buy a few but will end up regretting it a few days later. For Zara, i don’t care about the price, as long as i like it. (that’s why i try to avoid passing by that store :p) Of my wardrobe now, i must say, 70% are fr Zara. I just love the store
March 7th, 2008 at 2:19 pm
do mango and zara have sale around april in pampanga?
March 9th, 2008 at 10:36 pm
Ooh, I love Topshop and Mango!
I have sooo many pieces from Topshop, as well as from Mango. I also have some from Zara.
As for the quality, all three stores carry superb clothing pieces. The differences lie in the fashion market they each cater to, and the prices of the clothes.
Zara is more office/formal clothing oriented, although there are also trendy pieces.
Mango is more like haute couture for the masses, as they carry ramp-worthy pieces that can be worn by fashionistas everywhere.
Topshop is for the trendy, urban and hip. Their clothing pieces are just so fashion-forward, oh so High Street.
As for the prices, Mango carries the more expensive clothes from among the three.
I love all three brands. Enough said. Haha
April 3rd, 2008 at 4:37 pm
minerva darling, i dont think they are authentic. believe me they are not. in europe they are just like bench, you can find it in any corner, cheap
April 3rd, 2008 at 9:37 pm
I love ZARA! It’s the only store that really makes me crazy! Not only are the clothes there stylish and classy, they are wearable and never grow out-to-date. You can find anything you need in the store, may it be for the office, a weekend getaway, or a formal party. And when I go in the store, I always find something new and fresh.
I can bring my whole family there too! My hubby loves the collection for men and I find irresistible pieces for my son as well.

ZARA.
For me, Zara is the best. They have such wide range of clothes. They also sell playful designs in TRF. Then when you need more adult and formal-casual design you can go to Women. And they’re stores are so organized.
ZARA!
June 12th, 2008 at 3:53 pm
depends….
MANGO — what i really love on this brand are the bags, wallets, sunglasses, and accessories.
ZARA — i really love the vibrant colors of their clothes…so hot on eyes that is why I cant get enough on them….shabbychic!
TOPSHOP — what i love on this brand is their playful and sexy designs.

June 29th, 2008 at 12:36 am
I like zara best for now…since i’m a bit older na, i feel i should dress up w/ subtle bongga. zara clothes really enhance/follow the curves, nice fabric, some have nice detailing, compared to our local brands. local brands who try to copy the design, super obvious, esp if you’re familiar w/ zara/mango/topshp designs, kasi panget ng bagsak. like what my husband says, parang ‘two ninety five’ & to think, these 3 brands are not super high end na dapat may ‘lower priced alternative’ (295 or knock off–hehe). mango is next. used to be a mango addict to the point na the fcs make tampo or look for me when i don’t shop every other day- kung pwede pa everyday. sometimes naman they have ok clothes, just try to find out which have limited stocks so you won’t be nervous everytime you go out–para wla masyado kapareho. topshop, ok lang, not top priority for clothes, super colorful kasi, like their undies, though.:) i’m more inclined to monochromes. but when i see something i like, san pa sa 3, i HAVE to get it.
June 29th, 2008 at 2:33 pm
