My friends have told me lots on the bazaara and am wanting to go over but don’t know when is the best time.
I would like to look at bags and leather products.
Thanks!

Yes, La Vista bazaar has very good market. Lots of sales here and there’s a Church pa nearby (always good to have one near for sure people traffic). Another good bazaar is Corinthian Gardens this coming Nov 15. Just like La Vista, good market and lots of people go!
November 7th, 2006 at 11:37 am

Wack Wack Yuletide Bazaar, Nov 25-26 (best bazaar in Ortigas, lots of sponsors and ads)
St. James Bazaar, Dec 2-3 (best bazaar in the South; biggest bazaar with over 450 stalls)
Santa’s Christmas Bazaar, Dec 16-17 (best bazaar in the North; high end market and lots of tarps)
Please contact me if you’re interested in being my booth partner. Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

hi! im interested to join bazaars at the ateneo. how do i get in touch with the organizer/s?
thanks!
November 7th, 2006 at 4:23 pm
there’s also a bazaar at claret every sunday from nov 12 thru dec 17.
joined it last year. lots of buyers ’cause the venue is right under the church so the parishioners go right after the mass.
November 7th, 2006 at 6:45 pm
Yes, bazaars near parishes are very good because they tend to bring in traffic after the masses. That’s why St. James and La Vista are really good bazaars. Carmela, pls text me nalang! I am already sharing booth with someone in Wack wack but St. James and La Vista wala pa! I sell items from the US.
November 8th, 2006 at 4:12 pm

Hi everyone! I am interested to join a bazaar, although it would be my first time to sell my chef husband’s fruitcake. It’s yummy, moist, neatly wrapped ready for gift giving! Perfect as classy gift to friends and relatives at only P95 each.
November 17th, 2006 at 3:21 pm
Hi Gwen, pls scroll up for the info for St James Bazaar.
November 18th, 2006 at 12:36 pm
st james bazaar is already closed. i just called to inquire but they have been closed since last week. They have two venues now, cuenca and st james parking lot wc is just 15 feet away from cuenca. i think they have 500 concesionaires na. i feel bad for missing this. i made a killing last year, i was selling pastries. sold out my goods, a lot of the concessionaires near me almost ran out of goods to sell too. it was the best experience i had. a few stalls away was melisa infante selling pastries too. she left right after lunch of the 2nd day cz had nothing to sell. she was so happy. im going to look for someone who was able to join. im typing this cz i feel bad for not getting in!!!!
November 18th, 2006 at 5:45 pm
Hi macky, what about cuenca is it close na rin? thanks!
November 18th, 2006 at 5:50 pm
Hi! anyone looking for booth sharing for St James & Cueca Bazaar on Dec 2 & 3..u can txt me @ 917-4730661..Im interested!…Thanks!
November 18th, 2006 at 9:21 pm
oh my gosh macky!!! same here!!! i can’t get in the st james bazaar anymore, pati cuenca wala na
they started booking jan pa pala, no wonder they’re full! santa’s la vista bazaar won’t accept me narin kasi daw madami na nagbebenta ng bags (greenhills) so baka magbenta nalang ako ng ibang goods para makapasok! this is sooooo bad!!! bakit ang bilis mapuno ng bazaars?! eh i dont want to join valle 1 and valle 5 naman kasi super hina last year!! arghhh!!! so frustrating!!!
November 18th, 2006 at 10:03 pm
i cant share a booth with clothes or bags cz i want to be along the food row. i only like to join the st james bazaar and not the other cuenca bazaars cz im assured of thousands of buyers. its like a fiesta!!!! what was strange w/ st james, a number of my buyers were from quezon city, makati and manila. they really drive to alabang just for this bazaar. its really frustrating!!!if i cant find someone, i guess ill just go there to shop & eat and already PAY the organizer for next year, if thats possible!?!?!?
November 18th, 2006 at 11:46 pm
until when does the bazaar in rockwell last, i read it ends tomorrow, but other said it ends today.also a friend is asking if there are any booths for men at the rockwell bazaar.
November 19th, 2006 at 2:50 am
i am seriously considering skipping my school retreat for the cuenca bazaar on dec 2 & 3…
November 20th, 2006 at 1:26 pm
Check out nyo mabuti yung mga organizers kasi may mga organizers na basta basta lang kumamig ng pera. yung iba jan naglalagay pa ng entrance na wala naman sa contract.Organizers should be the one responsible in attracting people, yung iba jan naglalagay ng entrance kaya lalo lang walang pumapasok.Warning lang.
November 20th, 2006 at 1:44 pm

Air conditioned venue, cheap booth rates. Call for 09174404690/ 4118126 for booth inquiries.

hi! karl edwards’ bazaar is still on going? all the weekends of novemeber? am i ryt? hope somebody cud confirm. thanks!!
November 22nd, 2006 at 1:07 am
this is what i noticed and what i learned. assumption bazaar at intercon is good, there are buyers (mostly young). american womens bazaar at world trade is a good bazaar, its every month so most of the buyers are foreigners so the best time to join is sept til nov. most of the foreigners leave end of nov or early dec. hard lang to get in. jan to aug are slow months.casa y jardin at the intercon they say is the bazaar of the rich (class a+++), mga sosyal. hindi tumatawad, they really spend their money but it’s hard to get in. they started the bazaars since the 50’s pa sila so they are called “mother of all bazaars.” they used to have their bazaars at the manila peninsula. another bazaar thats good is makati rotary. its on sun at the intercon. also hard to get in. in the past casa y jardin and makati rotary were the only two bazaars at the manila peninsula. no other bazaar was allowed. a lot of buyers too. zonta together with adb at the intercon was a good one too. they joined forces so their bazaar became successful. a lot of people too. ofcourse my favorite, st james bazaar, no aircon but your pockets are full with cash that’s based on experience. international bazaar last sun was really crowded. half of the bazaar are the embassies and the other half are concessionaires. most of the people were in the embassies.
November 22nd, 2006 at 7:25 am
Big Tent is a venue in Quezon City just like the NBC tent at the Fort. Big Tent is located at Holy Spirit Drive Don Antonio Heights Q.C. It is surrounded by villages like Mapayapa Vill 1,2,3, BF Homes, Ayala Ferndale, Tivli Hts, Tivoli Greens, it is near Commonwealth. Maybe the Bazaar in Christ the King and Big Tent has the same title BAZAAR! BAZAAR!
November 22nd, 2006 at 11:19 am
The Karl Edward Bazaar at the NBC Tent is held every weekend of November and December. Remaining dates would be Nov 25-26, Dec 1-3, Dec 9-10 and Dec 15-23.

sorry pero ang kulit naman ng promotion ng bazaar bazaar na yan… one message lang sana, wag paulit ulit…
November 23rd, 2006 at 1:07 am
hi mae, try the Big Tent Bazaar.
November 23rd, 2006 at 1:26 am
hello to jehka, candice tiff, ria, racquel, pia, winnie, bianca, jettie and mae.
Please check out the Bazaar at the Big Tent, you might consider in joining the event. Walang masyadong competition sa lugar ng venue kaya most of the consumers from the nearest subdivisions and villages and as far as fairview and novaliches ay pumupunta to shop. Unlike in ortigas area, ang dami na venue for bazaar, so lumiliit na ung market. 2 weeks ago i was at christ the king, ang init na wala pang tao. if you guys are really businessminded probably you could figure out what im sayin. Thanks.
November 23rd, 2006 at 1:39 am
hi mae, dont join the bazaar if their promotion and advertising is limited to one lang, for sure walang dadating na customer nyan. Organizer lang kikita nyan hindi tayong exhibitor.
November 23rd, 2006 at 1:58 am
i mean you guys here in this forum… ang dami nyo na pong flood messages. sorry but its kind of irritating, i hope you dont get offended. one advertising post is enough.
November 23rd, 2006 at 9:00 am
Mae, like Pia said “one advertising post is not enough” walang dadating na customer!
If you’re only going to advertise your product or your event “once” do you think it will click?
November 23rd, 2006 at 10:30 am
all im saying is please dont flood this forum. people come here to look at reviews and comments of other people on bazaars, please dont flood with advertising messages. go print out tarps or something and advertise on roads.
November 23rd, 2006 at 10:59 am

November 23rd, 2006 at 4:55 pm
Check lang me how is the claret bazaar?pls and ty.
November 25th, 2006 at 1:10 am
hi toni, i joined the bazaar at claret last nov 12. daming tao after the mass, and namimili talaga. medyo patay lang yung hours na walang mass, mga 1-3pm. well, u can have lunch at that time and rest ng konti. after mass kasi dumog is the word. ill be joining again on dec 10&17.
the bazaar bazaar @ the big tent venue is also good. nov 18&19 was a success, bait pa ng organizers! (yeah, jay ang angela!)
November 25th, 2006 at 5:44 pm
i’m excited to la vista bazar this coming Dec 16-17. I’m expcing more sales because the market is AB. This is my 1st bazaar venture. Wish me Luck Please!
November 25th, 2006 at 8:19 pm
Me too Racquel! But I’m a buyer. I found out a lot of the Rockwell Vintage Bazaarista will be there such as Snug Mugs (super nice laptop bags!), Dean & Trent (like their polos!), Nix (nice accessories), Seour (Sissy sassy bracelets are to die for!), Happy David, Blandior, basta ang dami talagang nice stuff! Plus andun yun YSL bag na kukunin ko from Preloved bags hehehe
November 26th, 2006 at 12:13 am
im chickening out on the bazaar at la vista. for some stupid reason im scared to join. some say it’s a flop while others say it’s a success.
can someone who has actually joined a bazaar there give me a feedback?
November 26th, 2006 at 1:44 am
Here’s my review of bazaars, hope it would help you guys watch out for the good and bad ones…
Damar & Valle 1-6 - flop
Ateneo - ok lang
Tierra Pura - flop
Zonta - flop
Assumption - success
Corinthians - flop
Cuenca - depends sa organizer
St James - success to the max
Wack Wack - ok lang
La Vista - depends sa organizer
Alabang Hills - ok lang
NBC Tent - ok lang (pero mas ok dati, humina na)
Eastwood - flop
American Womens - success to the max
Enterprise - depends sa organizer
Greenmeadows - ok lang
Christ the King - flop
Medical City - depends
Tip#1: sometimes it also depends on your products since it has to suit the market in the area
Tip#2: find an organizer who has been in the industry for a long time, or is really into marketing. Usually, mas ok kung matagal na yun bazaar. But, for example, Wack2, kahit 2nd year palang nya, super masipag yun organizer (Karen). The organizer is SUPER IMPORTANT kasi tingnan mo yun cuenca, pag hindi st james bazaar, super mahina!
Tip#3: check out how the bazaar is doing. usually, pag madami na ang naka-book, ok yun bazaar (this is always my measure). the bazaar should have more than 50+ concessionaires, and ok din kung kilala yun concessionaires dun (yun mga hinahabol talaga ng customers)
Tip#4: try asking the residents of the area for feedback on the past bazaar sa area.
Hope this helps the new bazaaristas. Goodluck
November 26th, 2006 at 3:15 am
I am a bazaar addict i go to almost all bazaars. The ff comments may help
St James is very good bec of the variety of goods. good finds, yummy goodies that you do not find in other bazaars.
very organized too
American women’s- good because of some suppliers not seen in any other bazaars but id do wish the sellers do not discriminate in our own country. super maasikaso pag foreigner pag pinoy hindi. we are all buyers hello
Karl edwards- the organizers are snooty super feeling. they are not even friendly at the gate. parang you owe them pa for going to the bazaar.parang they have a peso sign on their faces. i go though because of some regular sellers who have good products. i think kaya na karma sila with their tent.they should really treat all customers better. there’s one partcuolar seller too lil kiks selling shoes and maids uniforms-super super snooty she’s only nice to rich looking ladies. hello it’s a weekend we may dress comfortably but we do buy so please be consistent to all clients
casa y jardin - good
assumption - good medyo masikip lang the way the booths are arranged
tips for those who want to join bazaars. buyers esp at this time look for unusual items to give for christmas. better too if you have nice packaging already so it’s easy to give away . having a price list will help so we can order in bulk even after the bazaar ( esp for food items)be really friendly to all customers. sometimes the quiet ones are the ones who actually buy
November 26th, 2006 at 3:21 am
ps: selling even gift bags along with your products will help too.
by this time, people have a christmas list already and at times it’s better to be able to get all gift items from one bazaar.
have fliers ready since calling cards may be too expensive.
it helps a lot too that owner of booth is around or a very good salesperson. there are booths na sayang bec the one left cannot answer queries.
more than ads - word of mouth talaga works usually the better attended bazaars are the ones that remained consistent through the years na organized and may good finds
November 26th, 2006 at 3:33 pm
Angela Benzon/Peter, do you still have slots & can you email me the details - smoochziNmunchkin@yahoo.com. Thanks.
Has anyone tried selling at the La Vista bazaar? I’m thinking of joining… but I’m not sure of the market.
Thanks!
November 26th, 2006 at 11:49 pm
thanks anne and patricia! appreciated your bazaar reviews!
true true true. ive been joining bazaars for a year and what you both said are all true.
i really dont know why im chickening out on the la vista bazaar. my friend kasi joined the bazaar there this weekend and she said she said it was not a success.
well, we have different items and market naman.
thanks again. i hope i can still get a slot in the santa’s christmas bazaar.
November 27th, 2006 at 10:02 am
thats true murayta. as i’ve mentioned, important yun organizer. second, your products should also be unique naman (even if not affordable). people go to bazaars to find items they won’t see in malls. like what patricia said, the tindera is super important. dont leave your stall with someone who doesnt know anything about the products noh! that would be the biggest mistake. lastly and sadly, bazaars are so unpredictable now since theres so much, people dont know where to do. take wackwack for example, medyo mahina daw sya nun weekend, as well as makati sports. both did well the past year but were semi-flop this year (think of how much the rent is compared to the number of people). i talked to some stalls, yun iba super benta daw, yun iba naman super wala?
November 27th, 2006 at 10:25 am
hi. can anyone tell me how to join bazaar? I’m planning to join next year. This will be my first. When is best time to book for the dec. bazaar? Patricia & Anne i really appreciate ur bazaar reviews. Go girls! How much would it cost for St.James bazaar. I’m interested to join since we’re living nearby. Thanx a lot.
November 27th, 2006 at 10:33 am
mhagzz you’re already super late! hahaha bazaar booking starts around september palang and in-demand bazaars are already full by october! if you’re lucky, call the organizers for bazaars on dec 9-10 or 16-17. definitely, you wont get one for dec 2-3 since thats already next week! st james is full na, last month pa. goodluck girl!

December 4th, 2006 at 7:07 pm
Read in one of the comments here na masipag yung organizer ng wack wack. True talaga mga sis. For me super success yung benta ko dun naka 36T ako sales first day pa lang. not bad di ba for a first time bazaarista? Yung isa dun hair accessories lang naka 20T+ on the first day. And tama din yung nagsabi dito na it depends on your items which you’re selling, it has to match the target market of the bazaar. Sayang nga wanted to join them din last year but puno na. this year by september puno na din sila! So, mga sis, naka book na ako for their summer bazaar. Yung isang stall dun sa wack wack bazaar naka 90T on the first day pa lang. Sabi nga nung isang may stall dun, na food, better pa in wack wack they made money coz they joined in world trade, lugi daw sila coz di nila nabawi yung rent, mataas kasi. I like the organizer of wack wack she’s hands on. and daming ads pati sa lifestyle channel meron. also daming sponsors. Gusto ko din sana join ng st. james pero, its too far from me, but siguro will try next year, together with wack wack bazaar.
According sa mga nakausap kong vendors, these are their top choices:
St. James
Wack Wack
Karl Edwards
Assumption
Venture 7
American Womens

hi KD, just curious, what items did you sell in the wack-wack? How about the one who was able to sell P90K. Galing ah! When was the wack-wack bazaar?
Anyway, does anyone know how to get in touch with the people selling the “picture bag” in one of the stalls in St. James Bazaar last weekend? I failed to get the seller’s number and someone wants to buy too. It’s a bag made of clear plastic (like plastic cover) that has 6 pocket sleeves for inserting photos on each side of the bag. Cool idea. Sold at P220 each. Please post number here. THANKS!
December 4th, 2006 at 10:48 pm
ST JAMES BAZAAR WAS REALLY THE BEST. IF THE CLEAR BAG WAS INSIDE THE GYM, THIS IS HER NO. 09209388433.
December 4th, 2006 at 11:11 pm
hi winnie, i saw your post regarding network and telecom equipt… do you sell 2-way radios? if so here’s my email address where you can reach me - rhineg@gmail.com. thanks!
December 4th, 2006 at 11:14 pm
several vendors sa st james bazaar last weekend broke record sales. yung iba naubusan sila ng stocks during the first day, impressive. i know they were not kidding kasi ang dami ng tao. i went back the next day, still so many people. grabe! lahat na nakausap ko na vendors, had huge smiles. i wanted to hear the opinions of the old vendors or old timers, best sales nila yung st james. even with more than 500 vendors, they have very good sales dahil sa dami ng shoppers, parang langgam sa dami.
December 5th, 2006 at 12:34 am
KD talaga? bakit yun mga kausap ko na bazaaristas from wack wack, wala daw tao nun saturday? as in wala. ang dami ko kausap, mga 5 ata! per bawi daw kasi madami tao nun sunday! nako st james talaga is the best, no doubt about it. its been like that for years.

sis ps, actually mas maraming tao nung saturday. mas konti nung sunday. but buhos ng tao nung afternoon. Also nung sunday, yung mga nagpunta ng saturday, maraming bumalik to buy more. siguro depends din on what time, sa wack wack afternoons talaga buhos ng tao. I sold rtw and other nick nacks. yung naka 90T on the first day, branded clothes. Depende rin talaga sa items yan. di masyado kinakagat dun yung pang masa. There was this vendor there selling gift wrapper storage boxes, 650.00 yata each. hayyy naubusan ako, the next day wala ng magandang design, naubus nung first day. ang ok din, ang daming followup orders from wack wack. Serious shoppers kasi talaga, and pinipili ng organizer yung mga products na included so maganda selection ng mga stuff.
December 6th, 2006 at 11:51 am
Hi everyone!
One of the best bazaars indeed!!!
Tpos we have other sched of deliveries bfore Xmas so tlgang super sulit!
I joined Wack-Wack’s Yuletide Blessing Bazaar last Nov.25 & 26 and I must say, 2 THUMBS UP!!! Well-organized nman, the organizers were great (yn nga lang matagal nabasa yng ad ng stall ko…LOL), great ventilation (lamig ng aircon) and had a wide variety of goods to choose from. My daughter enjoyed a lot too. She joined Math & Science show the 1st & 2nd day & had a great time playing with other kids!
With my sales, ndi nman super high sales profit nung bazaar mismo pero ang daming tumatawag for orders. I already delivered 100pcs of an item to a client fr QC. He called a day after the bazaar, Nov.27, to order.
My congrats to all bazaaritas & organizers of Wack-Wack!

December 9th, 2006 at 3:52 am
I only have this sunday to buy my gifts. any good bazaars? toys ? Karl Edwards-went there last wala tao everyone went to St james i guess. as usual the organizers in front super snooty. to the organizers-be nice naman to your clients. the owner of Lil Kiks there again super taray she quotes different prices each time tapos if you make tawad she smirks so arrogant. wala tuloy bumibili . the good slots there- kids clothes -cheaper than greenhills if you know how to haggle. bags- beware they sell mostly 168 items. you have to choose really well to get your money’s worth-some overpriced. there’s this lady selling christmas decors at the back near the dressing room-good quality and cheap. a lot better and cheaper than the one i got from american women’s bazaar.
December 9th, 2006 at 10:40 am
Hey patricia, try going to the La Vista bazaar on Dec. 16&17, lots of super nice stuff. I saw their roster of concessionaires tapos sabi dun sa flyers, no two stalls sell the same product. Handpicked daw lahat nun sellers. Good luck Xmas Shopping!

Hey guys! I know some of you called me over the weekend and inquired if there are still available stalls. It was fully booked since last week but due to the large number of requests to open up more stalls, we have decided to add 10 more prime slot areas near the registration booth. Initially, this was suppose to be for Enchanted Kingdom but we were able to move them. So come get the last few stalls available and be part of the best & biggest bazaar in katipunan! We already have over 100 stalls! =p
For shoppers, please drop by Santa’s Christmas Bazaar @ La Vista… All stalls are handpicked to insure that there are no two stalls selling the same product/service… Truly a unique shopping experience you can’t miss!

December 13th, 2006 at 1:25 pm
decar, i went to the WTC bazaar on their first day last dec7. i was able to get great finds like shorts for 150 and a nice dress blouse for 250! a long sleeved shirt with full embroidery on the chest for php150. also got a really nice outfit from PinkBelter, tho hv to make some alterations but it’s cool. some stalls were empty pa… was also glad to find there Gourmet where i bought my herbs n vegies. Also found some great cooking tools. will go back anytime.
entrance: Php25.00 - really reasonable right, it will not hinder a shopper from going back.
transpo: you must have a ride or it can be quite a hassle to grab a ride home.
December 13th, 2006 at 2:14 pm
Don’t forget to come and shop at the Karl Edwards Christmas Bazaar beginning Dec 15-23 at the NBC TENT FORT. That’s 9-days straight of bazaar shopping! It opens at 2pm-10pm on weekdays and 10am-10pm on weekends. Drop by the PILLOW TALK booth where you’ll find great Christmas gift ideas at very affordable prices! Catch our mark-down sale on selected items!
December 13th, 2006 at 3:08 pm
For Ria or Claud: Will there be an entrance fee for the Santa’s Christmas bazaar @ La Vista? Is the venue fully air conditioned? Thanks…
December 13th, 2006 at 4:58 pm
che, nice to hear that you enjoy shopping in WTC. It’s once a year event and for sure you have some extra money to spend.
I’m just curious why there’s original and imitation clothing, apparels in one venue. in WTC supposedly they will sell overruns not goods from 168.
December 13th, 2006 at 5:25 pm
Hi happy face! There is no entrance fee, and the bazaar is open air but covered by huge tents. As of now, we already have 120 stalls, its the biggest bazaar in the area =p Hope you can drop by! If you want a free invite (bearer gets a free gift item worth Php100), just text/call me at 09228825283. Thanks!
December 13th, 2006 at 9:23 pm
Am planning to join bazaars… I wonder if I could still join any bazaar at this time… although it really doesn’t matter if it’s after the Christmas season.
May I please request for a list / directory of bazaar organizers? I would really appeciate it! Thanks!
December 13th, 2006 at 10:52 pm
hi claud, just want to ask if you are the organizer last nov 25 and 26 at the La Vista? coz my friend pulled out from that bazaar as in walang benta. I’m just curious coz i want to join sana this weekend. Thanks.
December 14th, 2006 at 10:35 am
No =p Yes I heard about that… Think the organizer undercharged so walang natira for advertising =c Imagine, only Php1800 for three days! If you want to see my marketing efforts, I have streamers all around Katipunan, plus Ortigas and we personally handed all residents flyers =p Actually we were fully booked with 110 concessionaires but since they were asking for more slots, we decided to add 20 more. There’s only one left though =p Hope you can drop by!
December 14th, 2006 at 10:51 am

It’s that time of the year again to fill the holiday stocking and play “Santa”. But with weeks to go before Christmas, it’s no surprise that many are on a mad dash to the stores, rummaging through shelves for gifts to wrap. Thankfully, at the Christmas Gifts Expo 2006 which will run from Dec. 20 to 30 (except Dec. 25) at the Megatrade Halls 2 and 3 of SM Megamall, there’s no need to rush the holiday shopping.
The long-running event is the perfect place to shop for one-of-a-kind gifts at any price point. With a good range of merchandise mix that come from all over the country, there will certainly be a “little something” to give for someone. Wrap a fashionista friend some accessories from Cebu and Zamboanga courtesy of companies like Trendexpert, RKOC Shells Export and Almar Shell Industries. Delight mom with interesting home decors like acacia kitchen items by Global Export Products, wood chimes by Seven Trees, Pinatubo-ash frames by Excel Frames and Decors, charcoal stoves by G.O. Engineering, bamboo creations by F. Barcenas Bamboocrafts as well as hard-wood furniture from Cagayan Valley, Baguio, Laguna and Palawan. For the handicraft-lover, pick from any of the crafts by Analobel Enterprises or natural and recycled paper creations by Paper and Arts.
Aside from toiletries and a variety of scent collections, there are hand-embroidered barongs and export overrun apparels to choose from. Food fanatics are likely to discover some of Pinoy-made favorites like puto bumbong, suman, kasuy, pili nuts, pinangat, sisig and other delicacies from Quezon. Of course, not to be missed out are the imported cold cuts, Hungarian sausages and ham, the latter being a Noche Buena staple.
For health-conscious shoppers, drop by at Health Hub to check out revolutionary wellness products and state of the art nutritional microscopy for health awareness and preservation.
Mostly, don’t miss out the two-day Collectible Christmas Fair 2006 on Dec. 22 and Dec. 23 where an interesting range of toys, bargains and collectibles are up for the taking. Certainly, the fair is a kid and young-at-heart’s paradise as anime, comics, toys, cards, games, dolls, action figures, collectible cars and memorabilia swamp the display shelves.
A sub-highlight to the fair is the Toys and Comics Collectibles Action held from 12 noon to 5 p.m. within its two-day run. Then, a fitting end to the grand fair is an Anime Cosplay at 6 p.m. on Dec. 23. Cosplay, the art of “costume play”, is where participants dress up in colorful wings, wigs and costumes in cutting-edge Anime fashion; thus, shoppers are not only treated to interesting buys but also to a fun, holiday shopping experience.
Plus, premier Filipino ventriloquist Ony Carcamo, is set to bring in his wacky puppet friends to the Christmas Gifts Expo 2006 as well, delighting kids who need a little entertainment while mom is busy filling up the shopping bag. Catch this awardee for the National Commission for Culture and Arts on Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. and Dec. 24 and 26 at 3p.m. There will also be magic and bubble shows, parlor games as well as a Meet and Greet Photo Opportunity with Star Wars characters at 2 p.m. on Dec. 23.
And, if you’re an HSBC Red Mastercard holder, you’ll get extra perks like a chance to win surprise gifts for your every P500 single-receipt purchase using your Red Mastercard. Sponsored by HSBC, Philippine Daily Inquirer, Business World, Chowking, SM Megamall, Magic 89.9, Wave 89.1, 99.5 RT, K-Lite 103.5 and Jam 88.3 Christmas Gifts Expo 2006 is certainly the place to be at this holiday season. For details, call 873-8202 or 873-9047 or 873-1198 or 873-8876 or e-mail info@ChristmasGiftsExpo.com.

Wack Wack bazaar was really good, we’re hoping they will start holding monthly bazaars! The organizers were really working to promote the bazaar and concessionaires throughout the event. The turnout was really good considering Rotary and Karl Edward Bazaars were running at the same time.

Hi!Santa’s Christmas Bazaar, slot #18! great finds! all kikay stuff (see my photos @ my “cic’s” friendster…happy viewing & see u all tomorrow!
December 15th, 2006 at 6:47 pm
Hey guys, here’s my take on organizers of different bazaars, tell me if you agree.
KARL EDWARDS: BITCHY AND SNOOTY, palakasan system very evident
NOEL/DISCOVERY BAZAAR: Bitchy, Bossy and Rude
Excuse my language I want to be as honest as possible.
WACK WACK: Very nice, responsible, accommodating, supportive.. can’t say anything bad about these folks, they really are the best organizers I’ve come across
LA VISTA (Claud): don’t know her well yet but she seems efficient and responsible though young
Make A Wish: Bazaar last year was lugi but they were nice enough
ASSUMPTION: A bit messy, they don’t tape down markings of the slots which resulted in several quarrels between concessionaires
CASA JARDIN/ ST JAMES: very professional and nice
TAHANAN: they’re ok and nice enough though concessionaires were shocked that their tables are half the size of regular bazaar tables, cheap rent though so its ok.
Zonta Makati: These socialite ladies should just stick shopping and stop trying to organize. PALAKASAN system, example: a whole aisle of concessionaires was squashed up against the stage at sanctuario to make way for the gigantum booth of one of the ladies’ daughter.
UNIFEM (Baby Puyat): Very orderly and efficient, well attended ang bazaar, she’s a very nice and accomodating lady
BIG TENT: Angela and Jay are very nice and friendly, they used to be bazaristas as well so they understand our concerns
AWCP: the office assistant is nice enough albeit powerless, the Americans though are only nice to you if you (1.)don’t let them intimidate you (2.) look rich (3.) are MESTIZO. if you happen to be the tindera or cargaboy they will yell at you for the teeniest reason.
To you bazaar organizers out there, be professional naman and treat your concessionaires as they deserve to be treates which is as CLIENTS. We’re paying you remember, we don’t expext you to fawn at our feet, just don’t treat us like we’re second class citizens who have to worship the ground you walk on. Remember what happened to the MENCHI MABANTA BAZAARS, she is GONE guys. The story is that the concessionaires banded together and left her because she was mayabang, mataray, and kept increasing the rent. Most of these concessionaires are now with the Karl Ed Bazaar though they are starting to be mayabang and downright bitchy as well.

M thinking of joining the Cuenca Bazaar on dec 18-20, is it good? Hope you guy can help me, m hesitant because there seem to be quite a number of slots still available.
December 16th, 2006 at 1:33 am
hi karen, someone, tiff ok yong big tent bazaar sa don antonio heights. they have banners and streamers in their area of coverage, newspaper inserts, and yong last bazaar dates nila they had tv announcements sa abs cbn and channel 9. concessionaires ang nag ask ng additional dates dahil ok ang sales. end na dapat nung dec. 3. I think ok naman yong 21,22 and 23 ksi talagang rush na yon and for sure people in that area dont need to go far kc traffic na. gusto pa nga namin sana til dec 24 e, accdg to the organizer check daw possibility. atsaka super bait organizer, they know the needs of the exhibitors because they have been exhibitors like us. Hope this will help.
December 16th, 2006 at 4:01 am
thanks for that ms. mimi
btw, what about in terms of sales? ok din ba sa la vista? wack wack? big tent?
can anyone tell me about the jamactin bazaars?
thanks!
December 16th, 2006 at 12:32 pm
Hi everyone we are selling ladies handbags and mens buddy bags and wonder if anyone could help us to find good reliable cheap wholesalers in manila.
Thanks
December 16th, 2006 at 12:34 pm
Thanks for that Ms. mimi, rest assured that we organizer of bazaar and even in our trade exhibits will keep your advise.
But pls take note also that there are also some bazaarista who are so demanding, wants exclusivity, wants to ingress but don’t like to pay in full amount, want to reserve a prime booth but don’t like to give reservation fee. For the organizer of course we need your commitment if you are interested to join the bazaar then think it twice, before paying. Try to think that organizer too are having some difficulty in temrs of selling booth spaces. There are many bazaar in town and it’s really up to you guys to decide which bazaar you will go with.
December 16th, 2006 at 12:41 pm
by the way ms. mimi
may i ask you some questions?
1.) what are your product lines?
2.) do you have booth in Karl Edward for Dec.15-23?
3.) do you have booth in World Trade?
4.) how about in tiendesitas? any comment?
kasi sa relationship ng bazaarista and organizer… dapat nagkakaintindihan talaga.
give and take…. sabi ng nakakarami
we will give you the booth you like… but we will take your check.
win.. win… yun ms. mimi

December 17th, 2006 at 4:15 pm
where is the cuenca bazaar?
December 18th, 2006 at 12:24 am
Hey Mimi ! I’m not a bazaarista but i frequent bazaars even off season. I completely agree with you re KARL EDWARDS - the organizers have evolved into snooty people typically noveau rich. i frequented their bazaars from the strat they were nice initially very courteous simple people so they got good karma and had successful bazaars but now i noticed feeling na sila. just because they traget the AB arket does not make them part of that group. super feeling and nope they don’t treat even shoppers well unless you are a celebrity. a socialite or a rich looking matron. super peso sign plastered on their faces. try it. enter and they don’t even bother to smile when you enter with a free ticket or even when you buy one. hey guys change naman . na karma na tent nyo what are you waiting for ?
WACK WACK: i guess if organizers are nice and organized it translates to good vibes and therefore good business
ASSUMPTION: just needs more order
AWCP: Hey you are in the Philippines and so please treat pinoys with some respect. I go there every month and i’ve seen how some ladies fight with shoppers who come in late or insist to go back after closing. It’s ok to be strict but there’s a better way to handle this. excuse me you are guests in our country. treat Filipinos better !!!!!
December 18th, 2006 at 10:53 am
Message Crooky:
i called the number & looked for either Jang or Perl.. But the person on the other line still insist it’s the wrong number.. Better you call me on my cellphone: 0917 8960 922.
December 18th, 2006 at 3:46 pm
Decar, yes it’s sad… super gas-gas na ang 168 name. nothing beats the original location so dapat wag na dalhin ang 168 name to other locations. also sellers, should be unique naman daming copycats.
i went back last sat but this time super plenty of people na. the airconditioning of WTC is not really good especially the area towards the end. i thought it’s just the food stalls coz they are cooking. but i realized, when i attend events at wtc, that part of the venue is sweaty hot too. btw, are you a seller or a buyer decar? a blessed christmas!
December 18th, 2006 at 3:56 pm
che, im also a buyer, mery christmas too.
December 18th, 2006 at 7:09 pm
sana everyone can leave feedback about the bazaars they joined so that concessionaires will have an idea for next years christmas season……..
December 18th, 2006 at 8:29 pm
hey, i went there at the WTC to buy some merchandise of spongecola stuff and when i checked on the list of the stalls there i saw the bands name then rush inside and actually run at the end i was the store was closed to bad..
why are they close?
and what’s the difference between 168 to bazaars? can amyone tell?..
December 19th, 2006 at 11:21 am

December 19th, 2006 at 2:10 pm

December 19th, 2006 at 2:11 pm
hi sherry, san ba yun first bazaar experience mo? =) fun sumali noh? although minsan may mga malditang customer hahaha
December 19th, 2006 at 3:59 pm
sa la vista rin stall number 1 ako sis.. nanalo ko sa raffle pero hindi ung boracay
sis baka may sasalihan ka dis week or next week baka pede maki-share..
December 19th, 2006 at 4:08 pm
sorry naka 4 bazaars na ako! every week meron kaya super pagod
pero masaya naman kasi malaki din kita hahaha maslalo na sa santas bazaar! pero careful ka lang ha, since first time mo baka akala mo ganon kalakas lahat ng bazaar. meron dyan mga walang tao so sayang lang ang bayad, di mo mababawi. di lahat ng bazaar kikita ka. yun last bazaar nga daw sa la vista, super flop kaya todo pray ako nun nalaman ko yun. parati mo tingnan yun organizer pati yun reviews about the bazaar. anyway goodluck sa bazaar mo ha! sana kumita ka pa! basta ako masaya na hahaha to other concessionaires out there, reviews pa please para alam ko kung anong bazaars ang sasalihan next year! for sure, di nako sali sa mga valle!
December 19th, 2006 at 4:59 pm
sis.. how about ung bazaar sa don antonio heights have u heard feedbacks on it? ung the big tent bazaar? airconditioned e.. anu ba products mo? mine are toys kasi saka, childrens slippers and acessories.. kaya meju ok lng… naghahanap nga ako ng ka-share sa big tent 4.5k kasi un for three days start na siya sa thursday kaya ngarag na aq..
December 19th, 2006 at 5:44 pm
La vista bazaar was ok in terms of sale..dami ako nabenta but i was kinda disappointed with their logistics ..ksi nag iba sila ng layout last minute and concessionares got mixed up with the numbering of their booths..i was looking for my name in the assigned booth then the organizer transferred me without informing me…buti na lang ok benta ko.. tama ka ria..needs improvement..
December 20th, 2006 at 3:13 am
Hi I joined the St.James bazaar last Dec.2-3. Sales were great, over P30K+.
But I joined smaller bazaars after because I had not come across this list!
Hay naku! Btw, for next year, DO NOT JOIN THE VALLE VERDE 1 BAZAAR organized by Will Ysmael and Krisha Aquino. Total flop. No people, almost zero foot traffic. No marketing at all (no activities, no program, tago ang location). False promises. It was a good thing I got advance orders via the internet, so people came to pick up my items at my booth, dagdag sa sales ko for the day. The bank account I deposited in was a personal checking account, and not an events company account. All the stall concessionaires were luge. FYI.
Any good bazaars that are a hit even after Christmas?
December 20th, 2006 at 3:46 am
Hi sherry, i think for me Big Tent Bazaar is OK, dami ko naman benta last event nila, and also organize sila, tsaka maganda kausap ung organizer. i pi-feature pa nga daw sa Ch. 7 ung bazaar sa Unang Hirit on thursday yata. jay (organizer) texted me lang kaya nalaman ko. Kaya lang uuwi na kac family namin sa province kaya di na ako maka-ka- join e, sayang sana share tayo. Try mo nalang, anyway sometimes when u venture into business, talagang you have to take the risk, and taking the risk has a reward..God bless. Happy Holidays !!!!
December 20th, 2006 at 9:57 am
Hi guys! To you shoppers and bazaaristas joining the Big Tent Bazaar tomorrow, see you there, please visit our booth, we’re at stall 1 we sell dog clothes and accessories and some fun and unique gift items
Its my first time at big tent so if you guys have any pointers for me..
Also please try The Commissary, it’s my brother’s booth, its a military themed food booth, promise masarap yung food, familiar viands but i’m sure you’ll love the taste, my mom cooks in a different way eh. Plus reasonable ang prices
December 20th, 2006 at 11:34 am
hi babez, stall #18 “cic’s” (sister-in-law to be ni cilla- bpi) in terms of sales ok naman sobrang bawi..most of my items kase pouches..bags syempre mas ok kung maliwanag booth mo compare sa big items actually, im not the only one na nagcomplain sa outlet & lighting there’s a guy din as in wala syang ilaw sa stall nya…so i guess need some improvement pa talaga fr the organizer…ok lang meron feedback normal thing…
December 20th, 2006 at 12:05 pm
Valle Verde Bazaars , 4 yrs ago ng super flop..anyone out there be careful!
December 20th, 2006 at 12:24 pm
Wack-Wack Bazaar, okay daw!i saw their pics their last yuletide bazaar…hmm..mm will think about it for their summer bzaar..pwede ng magpareserve..
December 20th, 2006 at 12:51 pm
i agree there is room for improvement but i have to congratulate the organizer of the santas bazaar (claudine baron), overall it was a huge success! buyers and concessionaires were happy, especially me hahaha i joined 4 bazaars this year, heres my review on them:
wackwack yuletide bazaar (nov 28-29 organized by karen) - great organizer! walang problema at all, good sales also. people were really buying and organizer was hands-on. my daughter also enjoyed the activities like the science mad show. marketing needs a little improvement, medyo mahina nun saturday.
la vista navidad (nov 28-30 organized by jodwyn) - sorry to say but it was the biggest bazaar flop! even worst than valle. no foot traffic AT ALL. super kulang sa marketing pero makes sense since super mura ng rent.
valle verde 1 tiangge (dec 2-3 organized by krishna) - same lang eto ng la vista navidad. halos walang tao, i dont know what happened. very sad. organizers were kind enough pero wala talang kumita. lahat ng concessionaires ata di nakabawi. how about the others?
santas christmas bazaar la vista - out of the 4 bazaars, i earned here the most! twice ng wackwack, tapos my daughter had so much fun with santa claus! yes nagkaproblema lang ng konti sa outlets pero ang galing naman ng marketing. for me, ok lang kahit magulo ng konti yun logistics kasi in the end, ang importante is yun sales. needs improvement with outlet & booth perimeter (first time organizer kasi) pero best bazaar this season!
sorry was not able to join st james which i know is the best bazaar talaga. pero for qc bazaaristas, santas bazaar and wackwack are my two best bets. take note, do not join la vista bazaar pag iba ang organizer (dapat si claud). wackwack is great since 2nd year na, while santas bazaar is on its 1st year. valle verde 1 and 5 are on its 3rd year but still its a flop. i love reading your reviews and hope i helped with mine! merry xmassss!!!
December 20th, 2006 at 12:54 pm
by the way, i also dont suggest summer bazaaars. wala lang, feel ko bazaars just click talaga pag xmas season since people are looking for items that are one-of-a-kind…
December 20th, 2006 at 3:21 pm

December 23rd, 2006 at 3:00 pm
Alam ko, may summer bazaar ang Wack Wack and karl edwards sa march. I will be joining yung wack wack bazaar. I reserve na a booth and gave my downpayment na. although i never tried pa sa summer, gusto kong i-try ngayon. last year kasi meron din summer bazaar sa karl edward and sa rockwell ata, but di ako naka join. and since na try ko na wack wack last november, join ako ulit for summer. Di ako nag eexpect na maging kasing lakas nung novemeber, but kung medyo ok sales ko, i will be happy na. extra money rin for summer vacation di ba. and i believe na magiging ok naman, kasi sipag nung organizer ng wack wack.
December 23rd, 2006 at 3:03 pm
By the way, I heard, super flop. is this true? kasi when i went there parang walang tao, but inisip ko baka maaga pa.
December 23rd, 2006 at 3:06 pm
sorry, by the way i was referring to Angel Sent. is it true na super flop? kasi when i went there parang walang tao?
December 24th, 2006 at 1:40 am
hello,
ganda ng sales ko sa xmas gifts expo sa megamall.. dami rin tao
saka may starwars pa sila at collectibles.
visit naman kayo sa booth ko F19. we are selling handicrafts from Abra.
tnx and merry xmas to all.
December 24th, 2006 at 1:42 am
akala ko nga hindi dadami ang tao, pero ganda naman pala ng activities nila sa xmas gifts expo.. kaya im happy na sa sales ko 1st day 12K, 2nd day naging 9K, 3rd day almost 10K then today… naging 16K bigla.. ganda na yun to think na ang booth rental is 1,600 per day only.
December 24th, 2006 at 1:43 am
products selections are very good, dami dito new bazaarizta kaya, bumabalik ang ga tao.. gaganda ng mga tindang furnitures, garments and even toys are selling like hot cakes.
December 25th, 2006 at 10:57 pm
pls commnet naman on summer bazaars. do people go to summer bazaars? am thinking of joining, but i’m worried baka langawin lang.
has anybody here already tried joining summer bazaars? how was it?
December 26th, 2006 at 1:32 am
i was kinda disappointed with the st. james bazaar this year. it only took my sis and i about an hour and a half to go around and back again. maybe its because i’m from the village and i go to the weekly bazaars in st. james, its usually the same concessionaires…i enjoyed the AWC bazaar better. Even as a concessionair e, AWC is better. i joined st. james last year and AWC, i made more in AWC, and AWC is only one day until 3pm lang, and st. james is 2 whole days…
December 26th, 2006 at 9:28 am
I have been thinking of joining summer bazaars- its just that since it is not the gift giving season they wont be buying much. They would just be buying for themselves.
December 26th, 2006 at 1:45 pm
i went to the angel sent bazaar too around lunch time. wala ngang tao. bakit flop dun palagi sa sancturio?
December 27th, 2006 at 11:53 am
they say, never join summer bazaars because people spend their money on school supplies, tuition fees.
December 27th, 2006 at 5:34 pm
ano ba ang mabenta sa bazaars bukod sa clothes and accessories? mabenta ba ang mga children’s books and toys?
December 27th, 2006 at 6:18 pm
hi shiela, i think pag xmas season ideal giveaway din for kids. For summer bazaar ba?
December 28th, 2006 at 12:33 am
Even if there are LOTS OF clothes and accessories in the bazaars, you could still have the edge by bringing a new style and design that isn’t there in the market. I could give you tips if you need help.:)
December 29th, 2006 at 6:58 pm
hi
so who won kaya the boracay gc? that came to us eh…i lost Claud’s number kaya last minute na ako nakapag confirm. ang booth namin napunta sa ilalim ng puno near the organizer’s table. . . .un lang po
January 2nd, 2007 at 6:51 pm
Thanks to all the 130 concessionaires who joined Santa’s Christmas Bazaar @ La Vista! ;D Thanks din to everyone who came and made our first year a big success! I know we still have a lot of improvements to make (first timer kasi so we had some small probs with logistics) and next year will definitely be even bigger and better! Next year, 200 stalls na?! LOL ::) By the way, I’ll also be handling the Corinthians bazaar next year. I heard medyo mahina daw kasi, but the market is so good! Sayang! Hope everyone can join us again!
Happy holidays guys!!! ;D
January 2nd, 2007 at 7:03 pm
By the way, it was the concessionaire of stall number 70 who won the 3 days/2 night raffle to Boracay. Thanks to Citibank for those gift certificates! =p Til next year!

hey windy, if you want to book for claud’s bazaar, you should just go ahead and text her…don’t think she checks this site regularly…i just got a text from her last week that booking has already started and a lot of the got locations are already taken (front stalls). not sure though if shes already accepting new applicants because i’m an old concessionaire. hope i was able to help =D heres her number - 09172055522. she also has a sun number but I don’t know what it is; maybe you can check the older posts.
pls give me more reviews of other bazaars. so far, i’ve only signed up for the greenmeadows bazaar since i know the organizer (organizer for la vista last year). i want to have a bazaar every week starting november. if anyone is also interested to share a stall, pls text me at 09209126064. goodluck to us!
