Verdict on Cebu Pacific’s Cheap Singapore Flights

I flew to Singapore on Cebu Pacific’s new budget flight. The lowest rate for roundtrip Manila-Singapore is around P9,537 at the moment. This includes taxes, insurance, and fuel surcharge. (Webmaster’s note: The advertised rate is P2,499, but this is a one-way rate that does not yet include all the add-on charges, so don’t expect this to be the final amount you will be paying.) This is a big difference from the usual US$350 (about P17,000+) cost of a regular Manila-Singapore roundtrip ticket on other airlines. So what should you expect on the Cebu Pacific budget flight to Singapore? Does the saying “you get what you pay for” apply?
