Enjoy Spa Services at Home
by Stephanie Dychiu
Magazine articles on do-it-yourself spa treatments have always struck me as a little strange. Is it really possible to pamper yourself, if you have to do-it-yourself? Maybe not, because you can’t tickle your own feet and laugh, or send yourself flowers and get kilig.
Home spa treatments have to be done with proper decadence, so they can live up to their self-indulgent promise. Therefore, they work best when not self-inflicted. Orange Home Spa is a service that can bring high-quality spa services to your home, with just one phone call. The manager, Eric Tan, says all of Orange’s therapists are certified by the Philippine Wellness Institute and undergo professional training. Many of them are college graduates who took up Physical Therapy.
At P300 per hour, these massages are affordable even by out-of-home standards. Big bonus: you don’t have to get up after getting kneaded to sleep to put your clothes back on and drive groggily home. Simply grunt goodbye to your masseuse, and pass out on your own bed.
Click on the jump to see Orange Home Spa’s menu of services and contact information.
All massages cost P300 per hour regardless of type.
The following areas are currently being served out of the Orange Spa Greenhills branch: San Juan, Mandaluyong, Pasig, Makati, Parañaque, parts of Quezon City.
The Alabang branch is servicing Ayala Alabang and nearby hotels and villages.
Opening on February 20, 2007 is the Orange Medi-Spa inside the De Los Santos Medical Hospital, while another branch in Capitol Golf will open on March 25, 2007 to serve the Quezon City area.
For a full-scale pamper-fest, you can try Orange’s in-home Spa Party service. They can bring a massage bed, massage chairs, reflexology chairs, a portable sauna, and 5 therapists who can dispense body scrubs, facials, foot spas, massages, nail treatments, and reflexology treatments for 4 hours. The average price of the Spa Party package is P6,000, which is good for 12-15 people. Best for you to call to get the exact quote for your specific needs. Bookings must be made one week before the date of the party.
Furthermore, by end of February, Eric will be renting a small spa hub that can fit 20 people. This place will function as a Spa Party venue with all the aforementioned services, plus hot tub and hot shower. And catering. So Playboy Mansion! But alas, this is not that kind of massage parlor.
For bookings, call Orange Home Spa at 723-7714 or 724-0359, Mon-Thurs 3pm to 12 midnight, Fri-Sun 1pm-12 midnight.

please do not associate physical therapy with massage!! physical therapy deals with rehabilitation of people who had stroke, arthritis, and such disabling conditions or to maximize a person’s potential like training athletes and the like.

hi do you offer home service in manila area?
April 27th, 2007 at 1:54 am
I suggest the company make their services near hospitals and medskuls available! We doctors need to unwind because we’re LITERALLY burned out everyday. The best to complete our from duty status is a massage!

Angela, I live near market!market! too and I’ve been using the home services of asian spa. P250 plus tip. 24 hours sila, kaya lang they’re not very prompt kasi marami ata hinahatid yung driver. Thrice ko na natry and each time, I had to wait at least an hour before someone arrived. Pero I was satisfied naman.

I’d like to find out where are the reputable and licensed massage schools in the Philippines. I’m interested in learning swedish, shiatsu, thai, etc… styles of massages. Would anyone here know what school? contact number? websites? location? It’s almost impossible for me to find them on-line. Please help. Would really appreciate it.

Hello. I am looking for a spa service for my friend’s bridal shower, tentatively on jan 12.
I read in this post that: The average price of the Spa Party package is P6,000, which is good for 12-15 people.
I want to know if we are less than 10 people and hopefully with the same package/service? In BF Homes QC, hopefully indoors?
Looking forward for your reply.
Thank you.

Most of us have been there: you are ridding by a certain portion of town let you know that the sign for any “Massage Parlor” or “Asian Hot tub” in the spot that doesn’t obligate a massage therapy parlor or use a individual Asian someone existing in the area, and taking advantage of your current Russell-Crowe-like actually cracked this kind of code and read the indicator mainly because it was intended to be read – a hot moment. Instantaneously your own mind is overloaded with ideas: “How much would this sort of affair fees me?” “What do I get?” “Is this outlawed?” “Are usually these folks all Asian?”.However Do not worry. It is affordable superb and relaxing. We have had number of experiences plus it usually have been good
