The latest addition to the growing number of art stores in Serendra is LUNA, a shop that specializes in “functional art”. They have jewelry handcrafted from beach glass, bracelets and necklaces made from herbs and spices, hand-stitched leather bags, stoneware pottery (raku), and miscellaneous woodcraft.
On Saturday, February 17, 2007, 2:00 pm, LUNA will be holding an Artists’ Fair which will feature a raku-firing demonstration and exhibit by noted German potter Clemens Wirth. The mother-daughter tandem Mathena & Me will also do a demonstration on the art of wood-painting.
The event will take place at the ABC Store, Serendra Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. A unique way to cap your Valentine’s weekend.
