Hi! question, is there a purchase requirement to join this or just the pair that you’ll assemble on the event?

  2. teeny Says:

hi cai! my sister passby this evening, she told me that you just have to go to the north wing of rockwell that’s in front of marks & spencer, a pair of flip flops costs 795 pesos then the embelishments costs P50 pesos each =)

  3. joy Says:

i bought 5 pairs here just a while ago..it’s cheaper compared to other havs with those crystals..exciting..this event is a must-visit for havs addicts like me..i hope they can also include those high collections…

  4. yciar Says:

I agree with Joy, they should have included the high collections or the slims…the system is a bit slow especially on the embelishments table (crystals).

nonetheless, the event is fun and exciting. I’m a havaianas fanatic and my BF,too. We missed lunch and waited just to make our own havs. after seeing what we have done, worth the wait and gutom talaga! We went home with 3 pairs each.

try to go earlier around 1030am.

  5. Cai Says:

wow really? Last year I think there was a purchase requirement kasi, I’ve been wanting to go yesterday since I had free time… Sige I’ll try to pass by this afternoon or on saturday morning

  6. Shar Says:

No purchase requirement. Each pair (Top style) will cost P795. You choose your own sole and strap color. Then, if you want embellishments on the straps (they have pins with designs like skulls, flipflops, stars, the Philippine flag as well as colored crystals), you have to pay about P50-P100 additional for each stone/pin. Better to go early as some people will buy as much as 12 pairs each (like the 2 people who stood in front of me yesterday).

we’re planning to go after work =z mas marami kaya tao non?

Hi Guys! Thanks to this site, I was informed about this Make your Own Havaianas thing. When i saw this last Thursday in this site, I invited my friends cos Thu and Fri are our rest days, just in time. I went there yesterday, i was just planning to buy one. But i had to get one cos i have lots of ideas in mind. I don’t have money na but i still bought another one.Anyways, it’s so irritating cos there are some indecisive people especially in the swarovski area..some will buy 12 pairs and haven’t decided yet where to put the crystals and how many they want, duh! So you’ll really wait in line for so long. It was so fun! I think it’ll be good if we’d share how our pairs look…hehehe

  9. jesi Says:

kakaingit nga eh…wla dito sa davao…i wish i could get a pair for myself…could somebody do that for me? haha

  10. shay Says:

  22. kha Says:

im such an assict of havaianas, but i only bought 1 pair of it at the event because i have lots of havaianas flats, i want to collect havaianas high instead, but its worth it because you can create your own style and stuff, i just wish that i can create different staps color with different sole that will best fit my personality, hope to have this next year again and wish that it will take for a month or 15 days, i love it!

  26. marine Says:

    i love my pair.

my first one was a havaianas high (around 1100) and i ended up not wearing it at all. there’s something in it that makes me sick of wearing it.

now i get to wear their flats wherever i go. who would’ve thought that the cheaper ones give the greatest joy?

  27. alcina Says:

i had 2 pairs made at this event but i was very disappointed to find out when i got home that the guy who made my havaianas attached different sizes of straps on my slippers! needless to say, they look so weird when i tried them on. i can’t use either now.. what a waste!

to the organizers of make-your-own-havainas: can you correct this on your next event? pls help!

  28. Elmer Says:

  30. therese Says:

  31. mark Says:

hey guyzZz.. i realle really love havainas!!.. gaganda ng mga slippers!!… at 4 boys and girls na rin (unisex),.. heheheh….

  32. jay Says:

there is a “make your own havaianas” event again this year. it was originally may 2-4 but they extended it till tom, may 5. so for those who love havs you still have until tom. they now include slims and they have letters for the pins. you can even have a swarovski crystal in your flipflops. flipflops are limited to 5 per person. better be there early because there is a long line.

  33. Kate Says:

Been to the event the other day. Got there around 8ish pm. I guess we got there at the perfect time because the lines were… uber short. Got my havaianas made in less than 30 minutes.=)
