THE HOUSE OF CREED is now open in Manila

20070308-a.jpgThe House of Creed has been creating quality fragrances for Royalty for over two hundred years. Founded in 1760, the family-owned perfume house first open in London, then moved to Paris in 1854. Since then, Creed’s list of patrons has included Heads of States and celebrities.

Creed has a collection of scents made for men and for women, although some of the gentlemen millésimes (meaning vintage) are liked by women so they are being classified as unisex.

My personal favorites are Silver Mountain Water, Royal Water, and Love in White because I like fresh and citrus scents. Spring Flower is probably their most popular ladies’ scent, but it is a little too floral for me. My mom loves it, though. Below is the list of Creed fragrances and their famous fans.

Last February 27, 2007, the House of Creed officially opened in Rustan’s Makati. The event was attended by Manila’s creme de la creme (see photos below). Johnny Litton hosted the event and he did such a great job piquing the interest of the guests, that as soon as the boutique’s curtains were lifted, people clamored to get their hands on the perfumes. Mind you, each large bottle is priced at P8800 (steep!). Smaller bottles are available at P4600 and P7700. Why so much? Have I mentioned it’s designed for ROYALTY? It is certainly not made for everybody, but if you’re feeling special (and rich), go to Rustan’s and see for yourself. Sniffing is free!

Hi Aina! We were not told if there are plans to open Creed in Rustan’s Shangri-la.

Hi Makaw – For now they’re only selling their Millesimes fragrances.

But if there are updates Shopcrazy will be the first to know!
