I’ve been wanting to visit this cute store in Serendra at The Fort, since it opened sometime in November 2006. However, every time I go to Serendra, it’s always to meet friends for dinner, so there’s never time to go the stores on the second floor.
I was attracted to PEPPERED CHERRY because aside from the obvious (my namesake), the store facade reminds me of old buildings abroad with stores at the ground floor that sell quaint little knick-knacks. And the store does not disappoint. It’s filled with everything a girl needs in her closet—shoes, bags, necklaces, scarves, tops, bottoms, gowns, and even swimsuits. They have invited several designers to consign their unique items, plus they also carry both imported and in-house brands.
Who buys from you?
Mostly A bracket, women aged 25-35 yrs old. A lot are from this area, and they come back every so often. We have new items coming in every 1 to 2 weeks, and our clients always visit to check what’s new, even if they don’t buy. We encourage people to just drop by and hang out.
How would you classify the look of Peppered Cherry?
Our stuff is always a little different from other stores, but still conforms to the fashion trends of the moment.
What are your best-sellers?
Our hand-painted tops, which is an in-house brand. And also since it’s summer, our caftans as beach cover-ups, and the espadrilles from Spain.
Do you also carry items for men?
We are considering it. Recently we started carrying kids’ items, and they’re doing quite well, so we’ll see.
Will you be opening other branches?
Not in the next two years, because Serendra wants to keep the exclusivity of the stores in their mall. If ever we open another store elsewhere, it will have to have a different concept.

recently bought Soak bikini from them, it was so chic and affordable! I love the stuff they have at peppered!

i love PEPPERED CHERRY!! They have the best stuff coz it’s so unique. I come by every week to see what new items they’ve got.

oooohhh..i love peppered cherry! although some of their clothes are too pricey for me..but i did buy one of their rings! hehe..it’s actually the blue one shown on top!
