everything-at-steak-01.jpgSure, it’s summer and we’re all fretting over getting beach-ready bodies. But sometimes, us gals just get the hankering for a good old slab of steak. So if you’re in the mood for meat, potatoes, and then some, do as I did and head on down to Everything at Steak, a place that offers the whole shebang without denting your budget.

A little short on space and curiously located right next to a gasoline station in P. Guevarra Street, San Juan, the place isn’t exactly my top pick for a romantic date. But if it’s down-home and hearty grub you’re after, then this place sure hits the spot. It’s good! Barbecue-sauce-and-gravy-all-over-my-face kind of good!

I recommend starting with the Potato Skins (P75) served with their special yogurt dip. Follow that up with a sizable portion of their juicy T-bone (P120) or Ribeye (P125) steak with your choice of either rice or mashed potatoes as siding.

Grilled ‘Less-Bones’ Chicken

And while I’m not a big fan of their pasta selection, I find the Grilled ‘Less-Bones’ Chicken (P105) hard to pass up. It’s tender, super succulent, and ALMOST boneless for an easy and mess-free chow-down that doesn’t sacrifice flavor-everything grilled chicken ought to be in my book.

But my absolute personal fave has to be their Monterey Chicken Sandwich (P110), an open-faced triple-decker treat with grilled chicken, bacon, and cheese generously drizzled with BBQ sauce and spicy yogurt dressing.

Other must-try items on their menu include the Monster ‘Big Mouth’ Burger (P120) and the Pork Spareribs (P125). No desserts here but, trust me, you wont have room for it anyway. Check your diets at the door, girls!

  6. Winkiedo Says:

okay food but super bagal service. Check your bill they charge you VAT but doesn’t automatically give an O.R.

  7. melainey Says:

is this place aircon? there’s another good steak place near that area pero open area…ayaw ng asawa ko ng mainit…sana aircon dito

  8. celine Says:

unbelievable price… cheap for a steak.

  9. carrots_g Says:

Yes, the place is airconditioned. Coming from Greenhills, proceed to Wilson St, then turn right to P. Guevarra (or when you reach Barrio Fiesta). You’ll see a gas station/Everything At Steak at your left. The place is quite packed on lunch time, the service is quite reasonable since they cook their food per order. Happy eating! :)

  10. Anonymous Says:

whoah! thats one prissy husband you got.

  11. pammie Says:

this place is a favorite of mine. what it lacks for in ambiance, it makes up for with flavor talaga. yes, it’s airconditioned…a must in this crazy heat we’re getting. i’ll post the addresses for the 3 branches in a bit

  12. pammie Says:

San Juan branch: 5 P. Guevarra St. cor. V Cruz, San Juan (tel no. 7263286)

Banawe branch: 939 Banawe St., Quezon City (tel no. 4145634)

West Ave. branch: 33 West Avenue, Hollywood Square Building (tel no. 4151019)

There! All the info you need na :) Try it and let us know what you think :)

  13. sushiroxoxo Says:

hmmm interesting! d’you know if they got a branch down south–or makati at least??

  14. francis Says:

the monterey chicken sandwich looks really yummy - i definitely want to try that one when i eat there :)

  15. pammie Says:

hey sushiroxoxo, those are the only branches they have so far eh. san juan was the first and then they just recently opened the other 2, i think. give it a try na lang if ever you’re in any of those areas :)

hey francis :) yeah, give that one a try nga…it’s what won me over the first time i ate there :)

  16. Makaw Says:

at first glance at the picture, i thjought the monterey chicken was desert with all the gooey stuff in it.

  17. melainey Says:

thank you pammie for the complete info!!!

  18. celine Says:

what about the parking? Does the greenhills branch have a safe parking???

  19. KARLYN Says:

sorry to disappoint you guys but my experience wasnt that good. the steak wasnt that tender. I ate at west ave. branch. sa sobrang gutom ko naubos ko na lang.

  20. Aimee Says:

tried dining at the morato branch. the steak tasted good but served only in small portion. no wonder the price was cheaper. the place has no aircon so it’s quite hot during lunch hours.

  21. pammie Says:

    hey melainey, no problem :)

celine: the san juan branch has a small row of parking spaces. mabilis mapuno because lots of people dine there. but as far as i know, safe naman :)

  22. sage Says:

wow!the ribeye steak looks good..too bad i live in cebu and steaks are expensive here.

  23. ? Says:

being very near a gas station is that safe?:)

  24. noelle Says:

Wow. all the food photos presented here seem so nice and mouth watering. Definitely a must try!

  25. donna Says:

been there last night, west avenue branch. Steak is good, not that tender but good! t-bone is as twice as big as my hands! for only P110 with rice or mashed potato.

  26. Marnie Says:

Are their steaks better than snackaroo?
It’s s small restaurant situated along Judge Jimenez Kamuning. They have great t-bone steaks at generous servings and reasonable price.

  27. purehoeny Says:

yes marnie, their steaks are better than snackaroo’s!!… just don’t forget to tell them that you want your steak “well done”.
there’s ample parking space, wide selection in the menu & much better ambiance. =>
just visited their branch @ west ave & we are ohhh so satisfied!… =)

  28. marbok Says:

Hi Aimee, Are you sure it was Everything at Steak? I don’t think they have a morato branch. I was surprised when you said the steak was served in small portion, I always order the T-bone and lagi lampas lampas sa plato…

Hi sushiroxoxo, I spoke with the owner and they’re gonna open along Makati Ave by next year. Right now though, they’re building their 4th branch in Binondo along San Fernando, right beside Citibank daw..

  29. ronsanmig Says:

went to san juan branch last night, we had t-bone steak, boneless chicken and pork ribs. Loved the ribs but you can forget about the steak and chicken. Its not as great as comments found above. nothing fancy or extra ordinary about the taste.

Loved the potato skin and its yogurt dip. unlike their mashed potato which i think was just the non-cook-out-of-the-box type. they could have invested more on their mashed potato but what would you expect for mere 30 bucks.

the pictures atop were played up. what we had last night doesnt look anywhere near what’s posted above.

anyway, as not to sound too negative. the place is ok but dont expect much

  30. therese Says:

Sulit kahit di tender. At least flavorful. If you want tender, pay P700 up at Myron’s!

  31. Jonn Perez Says:

I think it’s fair warning to say that this resto is a pang masa. You get what you pay for. I just ate a rib eye. It was thin like tapa and the meat itself was completely tasteless and contained a lot of litid. Everything about Everything at Steak is cheap, right down to the interiors.

I’m a meat eater, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to any of my steak loving friends. It’s no different from eating at one of those sizzling plate food court establishments. At least the food court variety has some vegetable sidings.

I figure that this resto subscribes to the old adage “it’s all in the gravy”. The steak is bad, dinaan lang talaga sa gravy.

In the end, all it is is cheap edible grub.

Myron’s doesn’t have good steak either, but that’s another story.

    Peace!

  32. fran Says:

ey pam! this is definitely one of our favorite restos here in san juan! i love their appetizers! if only i can just order them all in one visit :P ohh! must try their strawberry iced tea too!

  33. msdonna Says:

deliciously good~ i always eat there with my hubby…. sana may delivery na so i can share it with others especially my office mates para di na lalabas ng ofc kc minsan sandali lang ang break.

  34. msdonna Says:

i treated my friends one time… hassle lang kasi kailangan pumunta pa dun para bumili, eh 11:30am ang opening so hassle talaga… pero masarap kasi ang food nila kaya eat kami ng eat…. sana nga magkaroon na ng delivery…

  35. msdonna Says:

correction, everything at steak grill in san juan contact number is 726-2386

  36. trisha Says:

i know that place ….. as i know they they serve the best steaks as of now im opinion…

  37. amonynous Says:

hi guys…not tender, small portion??? i don’t think so… well i’ve always dine in Banawe I have no complains whatsoever the serving is really HUGE, the beef is tender and of course TASTY!!! i don’t know about the San Juan and West Ave branches. T-BONE , T-BONE, T-BONE … if you want to be satisfied… don’t try the Short Beef Ribs…(serving is really really small but I would say it’s really tasty).

  38. diwata Says:

I think so too sis! I think they featured on TV the store located in West Ave.

  39. Tina Says:

Hello! Is their 4th branch in Binondo open for business already? I was planning to try with my girlfriends. Thanks!

  40. Marla Says:

my bestfriend brought me just this saturday at the West Ave. branch of Everything at Steak. And i was amazed at the large servings of meat. I couldn’t believe that t-bone steak only costs P120 there!I promised myself that i would go back and try their pasta.

  41. dora Says:

i’m sorry but the only thing that was palatable was the potato skins and yogurt dip.

the steak is good — if you’ve never had steak (or a piece of meat) before…

i know it sounds harsh but i went in with high expectations and discerning taste buds!

  42. Damian Says:

the food is good. loved their less-bones chicken bbq. i find the gravy of the tbone steak salty. the staff naman nakaka inis. nakasimangot. as if naman ang dami-daming customers e ang konti lang ng kasha sa loob. yung cashier kinda rude pa. basta na lang ibabagsak sa table yung bill. masmasarap pa rin sa Hotrocks! friendly pa mga wait staff dun.
