That’s good news for the girls…but be careful. I’ve read on a lot of fashion blogs that her collection is so overrated…and not all her clothes will look good on everyone(of course, because it’s her style and most of the time she’s the only one who can pull it off. The little white dress was great although it only looked on Irina and Kate Moss and even Selma Blair didnt look good in it… I like Kate’s style though…
Btw, do you think we’re gonna have this “craze” in topshop stores as they did in London and US…i don’t think so…how about u? lolz

Went to London recently and I saw the KM collection at the ginormous flagship store in Central London, on Oxford St. There are a few nice pieces but not everything is awesome. I really liked a short, cleverly draped nude jersey dress but not enough to shell out P12,000 for it (even if it has a serial number so it’s part of a very limited run). Locally, the KM collection, I thought, deserved more space in the stores as Topshop here did run a big ad and drumbeat it in the store windows. One floor fixture doesn’t give the collection much authority, and there were more interesting pieces in the UK this May and June. Just a few thoughts from someone working in fashion merchandising…

Forgot to mention, I found the capsule collection of another Brit celebrity, Lily Allen (singer, daughter of comedian Steve Allen) more interesting & more wearable - as well as more reasonably priced - than Kate Moss’. It’s sold at the popular high street retailer New Look, under the Love Lily label. Tiered printed flamenco dresses for P3000. Short printed satin smock dresses with jeweled necklines also at P3000. Google it to see what I mean.
