When I first saw the name “Gorillapod”, I thought—what strange word for a gadget. But after I saw what it does, I understood why it was named so.
The Joby Gorillapod is a camera tripod that can “climb trees”! Unlike regular tripods that you can only prop on a flat surface, the Gorillapod can be wrapped around poles and trees, and can balance on uneven spots. It is small and lightweight enough to stuff into your bag, so it’s ideal to take along on trips. It is built to be both sturdy and flexible, and comes in three sizes for different camera types:
