By now, your closets must be filled with jeans and long t-shirts/tanks in every color—all ready for the start of another school year. Nothing wrong with having a basic, comfy wardrobe. In fact, when I was in college, the running joke was, you can tell who the freshmen were—they’re the ones who are “overdressed.” But you have to admit, after a while, everyone starts to look the same, and it gets boring. I say, keep a good mix of staples in your wardrobe, but surprise your classmates with a few fab finds here and there. If last year was all about boleros and vests, this year, raise your style quotient with cute mini-dresses, shorts in all lengths, and trendy jumpers/rompers and suspenders.
