Nailicious

nailicious-01.jpgI’m sure you know of manicuristas who can go to your house to do a manicure/pedicure. NAILICIOUS does that but takes the hand-and-foot service to a whole new level. Owner Lizelle Tan says: Nailicious is an at-home nail salon that guarantees you the ultimate pampering experience. Sit back and relax while our nail technicians expertly care for your nails, hands, feet, and even your hair! No worries! We bring all the nail salon tools, equipment, towels, scrubs, all imported polish.”

Apart from nail services, they also offer hand and foot spa, hair spa, hair removal, and now, even full-body massage. (See Menu below for a complete list of services and prices). They also have party packages for theme parties, and even for little girls!

After going through their menu, my friend, Lanie, and I decided to give Nailicious a try.

Their services start with the basic Nailicious Manicure/Pedicure (P280), which I tried together with the Delish Hand Spa (P180) and Delish Foot Spa (P250).

Nailicious Manicure/Pedicure (45mins-1hr): “Our signature manicure/pedicure includes nail shaping, cuticle care, moisturizing massage, and application of imported nail polish or buff to high shine.”

At P280, this is a very good deal considering they use brands like Esse, Opi, and The Face Shop. They even bring their own lamps in case there isn’t enough lighting in your home. I am very satisfied with the work because they were really gentle with the cuticles—no hangnails or reddish spots—or worse, wounds—from over-cutting. The nail polish also lasted a long time.

The works—rubber mat, basin, heater, foot spa machine

Delish Hand Spa (30mins): “This mango-mandarin hand spa begins with a refreshing mango scrub followed with a moisturizing mandarin mask, tension relief massage using velvety rich moisture treatment leaving your hands and lower arms soft and supple.”

I was surprised by how rough the first stroke felt on my arm because I am not used to scrubs! But I guess you need it for exfoliation. So I just opted for a light massage for my arms and legs.

Fruity scrubs

Delish Foot Spa (45mins): “This foot spa includes a relaxing soak in a warm minty footbath, exfoliation of feet and lower leg, with your choice of milk, fresh bamboo, or lemongrass.”

I really liked how my abused heels and soles turned out really soft and smooth after a good exfoliation. My attendant, Fe, even applied “foot blush”—which is a rosy tint to make soles look like a baby’s for about 3 days.

nailicious-04.jpgLanie, meanwhile, tried the Berry Raspberry Manicure P250 (1 hour 30 mins) and the Stiletto Pedicure P300 (1 hour 45 mins). Basically she got everything I got—a warm soak, a hand and foot scrub, and massage, plus a manicure and pedicure—minus the cold mask.

For the three items I picked, my total damage was P710; Lanie’s P550. I’d say it was worth it and we would definitely call them again. Just take note of the time indicated for each service. We had one attendant each, and the whole spa experience took 3 hours excluding the preparation and pack up time. But if you’re only having a regular mani-ped, an hour should be enough time.

====================

Which areas do you service, and is there a minimum amount? For now we service Pasig, San Juan, Mandaluyong, Katipunan, and Makati areas. There is a minimum of P280 for Pasig, San Juan, Mandaluyong, and Katipunan; and P400 for Makati.

What are your business hours? We operate from 1pm to 9 pm daily.

How do we book Nailicious? Please call us at 634-3127 or 0928-500-2182 for your preferred time. We are on call but we do encourage clients to book a day before, or even earlier especially during weekends and peak hours (6-8pm). For spa parties, there is a minimum consumable amount of P2,000.

I dont like nailicious, the services posted is just an article! most of their nail technicians are not good. They ruined my nails and my moms nail

  39. Nailicious Says:

We are sorry to hear that your nails are ruined:( We looked at our records to check who did your nails but unfortunately, we do not have your name in our records. However, please be assured that we try to do our best to give the best in nail service. Hope you try us again.

  40. J Garcia Says:

I tried Nailicious tonight and requested the Ultralicious Foot Spa, specifically because of the 40 minute massage. This was in addition to a mani-pedi. The technician gave me a 5-minute massage after which she began to proceed with the nail polish application. When I reminded her that the service included a 40 minute massage, she insisted that wasn’t the case unless I paid for the reflexology treatment. Even when we went through the service list together, she insisted that’s not what it meant. I won’t go into the details of our lengthy discussion, which included a lot of backtracking/inconsistency on her part, but I was thoroughly turned off, especially when she only agreed to give me the massage when I said I would just pay for the Stiletto Pedicure, because that was, in fact, the service that I received. Since the whole point of a massage is relaxation, I turned her down at that point and said the Stiletto Pedicure and regular manicure would be fine. I don’t think I’ll be patronizing them again.
