I think Jodie Foster is a superb actress, even if I find most of her movies hard to watch—The Accused, Silence of the Lambs, Panic Room and now, The Brave One. I didn’t place this movie in my must-see list because I hadn’t heard much about it prior to its showing, but I was excited to see Jodie in another movie ’cause girl can act up a storm!

In The Brave One, Jodie plays a famous NY radio deejay whose life is picture perfect until one night, when she and her fiancé are brutally attacked. Her beloved fiancé dies and she’s left traumatized by the event. But soon enough, girl gets her act together and decides to go all vigilante on the city’s criminal elements’ a**es.
