The Perfect Midnight Snack

Okay, I admit it: I’m a midnight snack junkie. I just have to have my fix of chips, cookies, or any leftovers in my fridge if ever I’m up working late at night or chilling out with a movie. Right now, my favorite nighttime pick-me-up is Les Chocolateries cookies, which come all the way from Cebu.
Les Chocolateries cookies are paper-thin Belgian chocolate lace cookies. Actually, they’re more like chocolate with bits of cookie crumbs pressed so thin, it’s impossible to just settle for one piece! I highly recommend the dark chocolate cookie, being a fan of dark chocolate, and because it goes really well with warm milk or tea. These remind me of my fave Pepperidge Farm cookies – the Brussels cookies! Blue Kitchen sells a similar product but theirs comes out more expensive per cookie, so I’d gladly order from Cebu na lang. Thanks for the tip!

there are lace cookies available in the blue kitchen at the shang mall, malapit sa ledge (resto row at the topmost floor, near the cinemas). super sarap!!! quite pricey, but darn, so worth it!

Yes, the ones from Blue Kitchen are a little more expensive, but well worth the taste and texture! Also more accessible, I think.

I ordered for delivery in Manila, but they wanted me to pick it up either in Mandaluyong or San Juan. Dami ng order ko and I just live in Valle Verde area. I’ll just check out the one in Blue Kitchen at Shangrila Mall…more accessible.
