Not your typical V-day present

It may be the season of mush, but what about singles out there? Should they just lock themselves in their rooms on February 14 and shun everything remotely related to Valentine’s Day? What’s more, don’t they—your single gal pals and even you, our unattached readers—deserve a Valentine’s Day present? Or at least a gift that doesn’t spell tooth decay, decomposing flora, or a sad, blatant reminder that they belong to the singles’ club?
These cool and inadvertently cute T-shirts from David & Goliath allow unattached folks to wear their singlehood with aplomb! The American shirt maker uses its sardonic humor to create designs and tag lines meant to draw out a laugh or two in spite of the schmaltzy thought of being single, especially during the season of love. Here are a few David & Goliath designs singles would surely get a kick out of.

Even if you don’t hate boys, you can always say you got this shirt for the cute color!

The “He’s got a Girlfriend. Who cares?” funky tee. Disclaimer: Though ShopCrazy loves fashion statements, we don’t condone boyfriend stealing!

Show that worthless ex that life goes on without him!

A gift for that wretched heart-breaker, perhaps? Cute boy in T-shirt not included.
David & Goliath stores are located at Bonifacio High Street, Power Plant Mall, TriNoma, Robinsons Place Manila – Midtown, Greenbelt 5, and Rustan’s Makati.

February 12th, 2008 at 9:15 am
yes please include the prices =)
February 12th, 2008 at 11:02 am
david and goliath shirts usually cost 995 and up.
February 12th, 2008 at 11:15 am
ang mahal ng P995 for a shirt although i like that army design…
February 12th, 2008 at 1:27 pm
the mr. cheater shirt is available at SM. It’s only 199
February 12th, 2008 at 4:41 pm
the one at SM is a copy, but if you want the quality fabric buy the orig. one at david and goliath.. shirts are at a 995 and up range.. just like in Zara.. cute designs too!!
February 12th, 2008 at 5:34 pm
but if you’re going to give it to a real cheater, i don’t think he deserves a shirt that costs P995. give him the copy na lang from SM that costs 199 lang. ha!
February 12th, 2008 at 5:53 pm
mahal naman…:-)
February 12th, 2008 at 6:13 pm
LOL@missyosigirl
Although when you feel their shirts, the fabric really is different, like what Helena mentioned re Zara.
February 12th, 2008 at 8:23 pm
where in SM? sa department store?
February 12th, 2008 at 8:49 pm
yah.. david & goliath shirts are mahal but they’re really adorable:) juz want to ask where can i buy wet&wild products here? a friend from the states gave me a blush stick kso ubos na:( i soo love it, plus mura lng daw..
February 13th, 2008 at 8:38 am
maganda ba talaga yung fabric? bakit yung guy na may suot na “mr. cheater,” parang ang nipis ng fabric?
February 13th, 2008 at 9:17 am
i loooove david & goliath!
the fabric is really different. their shirts (aside from being cute) are soft and comfy. if u want, you can try visiting their stores
February 13th, 2008 at 10:13 am
Manipis talaga ang fabric ng david & goliath. So kung medyo may bilbil ka, patay! It’s really just for a certain market segment and body type. Sayang kasi cute ang mga designs.
February 13th, 2008 at 10:20 am
sa dept store lng. give it to a real cheater kc a non-cheater doesn’t deserve 199
February 13th, 2008 at 11:58 am
hahaha that was funny.. why sm caters for those kinds of shirt din in cheaper prices pero sympre iba padn ung original ang may gawa
February 14th, 2008 at 9:20 am
I really like to buy their shirts due to their unique designs, statements and high fabric quality kaso sobrang overpriced
February 15th, 2008 at 4:20 pm
even though the fabric is ‘manipis’, it does not easily wear out unlike if you buy the cheaper one.. If the soft yet thin type of fabric isn’t ur type for ur guy, u can try Philosophy or Topman or Mavi (Rustan’s) although it is more expensive
I you want cheap stuff and cute designs, try Artwork..
@missyosigirl, ur ryt gurl! but the real cheater does not even deserve a shirt from u!! haha lol
February 15th, 2008 at 9:52 pm
better buy the 199php. its cheaper, … its just a shirt guys!!!
February 16th, 2008 at 1:23 am
i agree w/ helena, the difference is the cloth doesnt wear out unlike cheap cotton shirts which may be 5 times cheaper but will accumulate fluff 5x faster, just my opinion! maybe it’s easy to say get the cheap fake version if u havent actually seen and touched these shirts in d flesh.
if u have the money and are after the quality, then ur the target market of these kinds of shirts. if ur complaining then ur not the target market lolz

david&goliath is worth the price. yes its kinda expensive but the fabric is very good and comfy. i love their sleepwear also!
February 18th, 2008 at 12:45 pm
robinsons department stores also have shirts that have david and goliath characters in it (like one tough cookie) and it’s cute. it only costs 150 to 200
February 18th, 2008 at 6:54 pm
i want to buy one=D soo cute!
March 27th, 2008 at 2:17 am
This is mahal pala! My bro recently got me the I’m Over It one haha thanks bro!
March 27th, 2008 at 6:21 pm
well for me… a tshirt is a t shirt… find it way too expensive. It’s not as if you are going to wear it every week. With that amount I can buy a nice blouse or even a dress. sorry
