Debenhams Value Mileage Promo

As part of Debenhams‘ Spring Summer ‘08 launch, they are offering customers the Debenhams Value Mileage Card. Every P500 single receipt purchase is equivalent to one sticker. Collecting stickers on your Debenhams Value Mileage Card allows you to redeem a special gift from Debenhams‘ choice of rewards.
The promo runs from February 15 to March 15, 2008. Debenhams is located at Rustan’s Makati Glorietta 4, TriNoma, and Shangri-la Plaza Mall.

Real Coffee

Although it was a working trip, it felt like otherwise. I prefer lodging in the huge private beach house we stayed at over being housed in a hotel. It felt like we were really in an island, with its nipa roofs and bamboo open hallways. Dozens of fully-grown coconut trees in the front yard that is a few steps from the water paint a beautiful picture of Boracay.
About a hundred meters away is one of the breakfast retreats I frequent. Real Coffee serves homemade American comfort food. Run by Nadine Rosaia, who was originally from California, and her mother Lee, Real Coffee opened on December 27, 1996. Lee had been living in Boracay for a while when she convinced Nadine to come to the Island and put up a coffee shop.
As I settle onto the high seat next to the counter, I start my day with a hot drink. The pot of Ginger Tea always gives me the wake up I need. Its subtle sour taste will make you want to have more than one cup.

Purr-fect harmony

How can any girl walk past a Gift Gate branch and not notice a screaming pink Hello Kitty Fender electric guitar in the window?
I’ve outgrown my Hello Kitty phase the moment I hit high school (and evolved into a Badtz-maru kind of girl—still am till now!) but really, a girl who grew up with Sanrio products all around her will always have a special place for the ubiquitous—albeit cute—Japanese cat in her heart. Thus “ooh-ing” and “aah-ing” at this guitar is inevitable. Oh come on, admit it!
