As I’m staring at Penelope Cruz’s photo right here, I can imagine her telling me, “Don’t hate me because I’m beautiful.” Nonetheless, I hate you, Penelope Cruz. Because you’re so darn beautiful.
She’s talented, she’s good-looking—no wonder she’s a beauty product endorser. But what’s the secret to this lovely woman’s flawless and almost effortless look?
The new L’Oreal Paris True Match Minerals is light as powder, but provides foundation-like coverage. Its smooth, matte finish matches one’s skin tone and even has SPF 19 to protect you from the sun. Its fragrance-, preservative-, and oil-free formulation doesn’t block pores, too. It comes in four shades: G5 Golden Sand (which is Penelope’s shade), N3 Nude Vanilla, N5 Honey Sand, and N1 Nude Ivory.
Its packaging may look complicated to use, but applying it is as easy as ABC, or rather 1, 2, 3. 1) Dust and shake the brush; 2) Dot on your forehead, chin, and cheeks, and; 3) Blend in circles using the brush.

True Match Minerals: P945
By the way, L’Oreal Paris chief makeup artist Jigs Mayuga will give free makeup tips and makeovers on March 14 at the Robinsons Department Store Ermita and on April 20 at the SM Mall of Asia Department Store. To avail of the makeover, buy any item from the following lines at the venue: True Match, Color Riche, or Double Extension.

Is the coverage the same as the true-match foundation? Thanks =)

hey, teeyah! i’m not a makeup specialist, so this is just my humble opinion based on my limited experience, okay? =) true match minerals falls somewhere between the true match pressed powder and true match foundation.
if you want a natural look — like if you just want to wear powder on your face to look fresh — this provides way better coverage than the true match pressed powder, yet is just as light as wearing powder. however if you plan on being all made up, the foundation seems like a better base. plus, the foundation is easier to apply when you’ve moisturized, as true match minerals is easier to apply on dry (meaning not wet hehe) skin. =)

How does it compare to the other mineral foundations like Bare Escentuals and Youngblood?

I wonder if this foundation holds up in our 1 million degrees summer heat?!! I’m talking oil and sweat!
