The next time you pose for a picture, make sure that it’ll look good…on chocolate.
Chocolate fiends and trigger-happy people, better brace yourself: your literal eye candy just got yummier. I never thought it would be possible to eat a picture of myself on chocolate, until ChocoPix’s personalized chocolates came along. And the good news is, if chocolate is your ideal gift for Valentine’s, ChocoPix can make it more special for you.
How is this possible? Well, it’s all thanks to the Chocolography Food Imaging System, a new and unique patented technology that ChocoPix has brought in from the United States. Using cartridges filled with FDA-approved special inks, ChocoPix can easily print accurate images of anything—from photos to special messages, and even company logos—directly on the surface of the chocolate of your choice (milk chocolate, white and dark chocolate, and Belgian chocolates, to name a few). The best part about this is that everything in the chocolate is edible!
ChocoPix also makes the process easy for your own personalized chocolate. Simply send them a high-resolution photo in JPEG or GIF. You can also customize messages on your photo, and instruct the graphic artists on the font and colors you want to use. And if you’re iffy about extras in the photo, ChocoPix’s artists can even crop and edit your photos for you.
To demonstrate, here are some photos that Web Producer Chamie and I sent to ChocoPix for printing:

Now, with a Valentine’s gift like this, I’m sure your beau won’t mind preserving the chocolate for a few days! ChocoPix’s products can even last from six to 12 months at room temperature, but be sure not to refrigerate or expose them to direct sunlight.
ChocoPix products also make good party favors for any event and occasion. When my grandmother saw my chocolate heart, she instantly wanted to order some for her 80th birthday party! Here are some good ChocoPix ideas for gifts and party favors:

WARNING:
super bad service.
unfriendly seller with the guts to feel annoyed when you ask questions about her product. what a way to ruin someone’s valentines, take note, a customer’s valentines day!
to the seller, you may want to express courtesy to your customers the next time you answer their calls or text messages.
Definitely will not order again from her. ever

Chocopix gave me the most stressful Valentines. I deposited my payment (a very large share of it on their expensive shipping) and sent my image in advance only to tell me on Vday that they CANNOT DELIVER MY ITEM ON THAT DAY, INSTEAD WILL HAVE IT DELIVERED THE NEXT DAY. After a series of long dialogues with their graphic artist, he agreed to deliver the chocolate to me personally. I could have appreciated his efforts but he had me waiting in Galleria till 10PM! Alone. On Valentine’s Day.
I swear to everything that is sane that I will never again buy from Chocopix! And if any of you wants to have a ROTTEN day, I’d highly recommend you ordering from Chocopix.

do they deliver?
February 27th, 2008 at 7:33 pm
unsatisfied: vday was extremely busy and stressful for the team, and we did our best to accommodate everyone…we apologize for your unfortunate experience and rest assured we will continue to improve our services =)

Noemi…thanks! We just have one outlet in Quezon City, but we have delivered to places like Cagayan de Oro, Cebu and Bacolod through LBC.
February 27th, 2008 at 7:36 pm
Coco…all of our products are imported from the U.S.A…please feel free to drop by our store to get a free taste of our products =)
February 27th, 2008 at 7:37 pm
Cathy…we don’t have regular deliveries, but if you’re willing to pay for shipping, we can deliver through LBC.
February 27th, 2008 at 8:14 pm
Jason…I’m sorry to hear about that. I did say in my e-mail to you that if you’re willing to pay for shipping, we can have delivered to you via LBC. We usually don’t deliver, especially if the order is just one (1) piece. It also wouldn’t be fair to say that you delivered the image in advance because you sent the image to be printed at 5:21 PM on Feb 13, and it would have been impossible to send this through LBC next day shipping since cut-off time is at 5 PM. My graphic artist went out of his way (on the busiest night of the year) to deliver one piece of chocolate, so we really do go the extra mile and do what we can in serving our customers well.

i went to your store a while ago, it was already closed at 6pm. what is your store hours? and how long will it take to make one chocolate? will i get it at the same day i ordered it? can i send pictures from my cellphone through bluetooth? please reply. thanks!
May 8th, 2008 at 4:39 pm
Hi Maine! Our store hours are 11am to 8pm (Monday to Saturday), but last April 18 (Friday), we closed at 6pm because our team was going to a 3-day retreat in Cavite.
It usually takes 2 to 3 days to process your order, but if your pictures are ready to print and orders aren’t full, we can probably accommodate you and you can get it within the day or just wait for it. Its best to call us ahead of time so that we can prepare your order (Tel 9205911). We have used pictures from cellphones (via BlueTooth) but we do recommend large, high-quality pictures which aren’t dark or blurry.
Thanks and hope to see you soon!
