Study makeup, learn basketball, and enrich your mind!

Learn basic and advanced makeup by attending a two-part makeup workshop entitled “In Deep: How to Put on Makeup Properly”.  It will be held on April 19 and 26, 2008 from 1-5PM at the Palm Function Room of the Richmonde Hotel, Ortigas.  The registration fee is P3,500 and it includes snacks and materials.

More details and activities after the jump.

The instructor, Lorelei Tan, took her Professional Makeup Artist Course in Hollywood, California. After receiving her training, Lorelei worked as a makeup artist for photo shoots in Los Angeles. Her work is featured in various local publications and Lorelei herself has appeared on television shows to showcase her craft. For reservations or inquiries, please contact Mia at (0917) 523-4689 or email indeepworkshop@gmail.com.

Be part (or let your boyfriend be part) of the first basketball camp for adults 25 years old and above beginning April 10, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 830 to 1030PM at Club Sixfifty Libis for ten sessions. Fee is P4,900. First 20 registered students get a gift from Nike. Contact Xavier through (0928) 726-9437 for more details.

Flow of the Gentle Ink: Storytelling in Calligraphy by Ong Bun Han, on the other hand, will showcase works by businessman and Chinese calligrapher Ong Bun Han. Ong learned the calligraphy of the Jing dynasty “Sage of Calligraphy” Wang Xi Zhi after retiring from business in 1990. His works have been exhibited in China, Japan, Singapore, and South Korea. This is his fourth solo exhibit, which will be on display until May 1 at the Yuchengco Museum in Makati City. Contact Carla Martinez through (02) 889-1234 for more details.
