soak-swimwear-brown-printed.jpgYour body may be bikini-ready, your skin the perfect canvas for the tanning sun, but you’ll never look good on the beach if your swimwear comes across as something old and unloved!

Our friends over at Soak Swimwear have recently shared with us three useful tips on caring for your swimwear:

Rinse it
Be sure to rinse after every dip at the beach or the pool to let out damaging elements to your swimwear. Elements include salt, sand, and especially chlorine.

Wash it
After extended use, always hand wash your swimwear with mild soapy water, as chlorine and salt water can damage it. And use mild soap, as detergents can alter the color of the fabrics.

Love it
Do not: iron, stretch, wring, dry clean, use laundry detergent or harsh washing elements on your bikinis.

best to keep your swimwear in the ref instead of your drawer/cabinet when not in use..this tip is guaranteed to keep it in perfect condition since our warm weather can wear out the lycra/stretch fabric easily =)
