Ever since I’ve started maintaining my pathetic attempt at side swept bangs, I’ve been on the lookout for hair products to keep my bangs—you guessed it—swept to the side of my face.
But as I’ve began trying out different products, I’ve also discovered how each of them can come in handy depending on the kind of look you’re going for, and not just to keep hair in place.
Recently, I’ve tried some of Hong Kong brand Faddy’s hair goodies. And they’ve done more than just keep my bangs to the side.
Faddy Crude Clay: Its strong, long lasting hold can help you achieve the wildest possible hair style; P199 (30g)*
I’ve tested four Faddy hair styling products: Crude Clay, Hair Styling Gel, Wet Look, and Multipurpose Styling Foam. All delivered on what they claimed to provide. Though if I had to pick my favorites of the bunch, it would definitely be the Wet Look and Multipurpose Styling Foam.

Faddy Multipurpose Styling Foam: Allows hair to be restyled sans the white residue; P249.75 (160ml)*
At first I had qualms about the Styling Foam. I assumed it was a type of hair mousse—and I’m not really a big fan of mousse, as often most of it ends up absorbed all over my hands rather than on my hair. But Faddy’s Styling Foam is in liquid form, and when you put some on your hands, it feels like liquid with non-sticky suds. And it remains non-sticky even as your hair remains pliable because of the product. Another great thing about it is if you apply just the right amount on your hair, it doesn’t make your hair look stiff despite the hold it provides.
Faddy Wet Look: Provides shine, texture, and hold; P249 (250ml)*
Frizz is a thing of the past with Faddy’s Wet Look. It can calm those tikwas strands while conditioning hair a lot better than leave-on conditioners. It’s non-sticky, too. I also experimented with this to give my boring straight hair a bit of texture and bounce. What I did was put some on both hands, then combed my hair with my fingertips. With my palms facing my head, I ran my fingers through my hair from the bottom going up.

Faddy Hair Styling Gel: This is ideal for styling short to medium-length hair; P199 (225ml)*
The good news is you can avail of Faddy’s hair styling products at 50% off the original price. This special sale is only until June 23 or until supplies last. Hi, Jennifer! I use the Styling Foam for the area of my bangs near where my hair is parted, and the Wet Look from the middle towards the end of my bangs. =)

I’ve tried their Faddy Shine Wax and I like it. Feels very smooth.

^the crude clay is 90g, they are the same size as the shine wax

BTW Jennifer, Faddy also has hairspray. I tried it on my bangs. What I did was use a letter envelope to shield my eyes as I let my bangs rest on it as I sprayed the hairspray. After letting the hairspray dry a bit, removing the envelope gives my bangs a bit of body.

Umm… The last paragraph on the entry states where you can buy faddy hair products. It takes less than 30 secs to read it. ;o)
