Do they have a website? Where is the store located?

  2. Shelly Says:

Just checked their site and the prices and was surprised to find out that the prices are double compared here in Dubai.

  3. Cathy Says:

    Well they’re still cheap.=)
Went to their store in kamias last year, i was able to buy some boxes, lamps, and a couple of artist’s dummies for my place. The owner was really nice and accommodating.=)

  4. Daisy Says:

Where is the store located? do they have a philippine website yet?

  5. HA Says:

There are actually a number of IKEA showrooms already in the country. These are their sites (including the ikeaph mentioned in the post):

    QC – http://ikeaph.multiply.com/

    New Manila – http://newmanila23.multiply.com/

    Palanan Makati – http://rooms101.multiply.com/

    http://thestorefront.multiply.com/

The sites have the maps to their respective showrooms except the storefront which is an online shop.

  6. estee Says:

same question as with kathy and daisy: where is their store here located?

cant wait to check them out. last time i was at singapore, i was drooling over their lamps. if i wasnt worried abt excess baggage, i could have bought at least 3pcs

  14. maricar Says:

Their showroom was very disappointing. It was so hot and it was like a garage sale. Most of the items were out of stock (daw). So ended up buying nothing. Geez… so why post these items? They have a lot of storage boxes bu you can find better ones in other stores. My officemate heard there is a store in Makati which sells ikea stuff . They are more well stocked. Anybody know where this is?
Would definitely give this ikea branch in kamias the THUMBS DOWN. sorry but I hope others won’t waste their time gong all the way to Kamias. I came all the way from Pasig.

  15. cosmochick Says:

yeah thats why some prefer to order online through their site so they can pick up their stuff nalang when it’s available

  16. jeannie Says:

i hope this helps all ikea hunters.

  18. lumen Says:

i compared the prices of the one in makati versus the kamias outlet. The latter is a whole lot cheaper but as mentioned earlier… not enough stocks

  19. mox Says:

is this a real IKEA store… I dont think so…cause im working for IKEA, the real thing.

  20. jeannie Says:

I honestly think it’s the real thing. I have bought a lot of ikea stuff abroad too and comparing it with the ones being sold here – same quality, texture etc.
I visited both New Manila and Kamias. The ones in NM are around 50 pesos higher but I would prefer going there since the items are presented in a clean and hassle free way. While the one in Kamias is ‘bodega’ style – stuffy… BUT both outlets sellers are very pleasant and nice.

  21. maxime Says:

ordering was not a problem for me. they just had one shipment that got delayed at customs, because of reasons beyond their control. but yes, they carry the real Ikea! heard they’re opening a bigger showroom soon. so patience, guys. my sofa was sooo worth it! and they issue receipts too, ie. they pay the right taxes! Go Pinoy!

  22. cindy Says:

oh please give me direction / address of ikea at rollinghills :)
    Thanks.

    Lai

  23. cheenie Says:

From Broadway centrum – broadway avneue going towards E Rod. Turn left at 9th street until you reach the entrance of the Rolling Hills Subdivision. Turn left at Forest Hill, left at Sunset St until you reach CalvAry. Turn left at that street and you won’t miss a brown gate with the ikea poster.
The guy who owns this – Joel is very nice and accommodating.

  24. cindy Says:

    Thanks so much Cheenie :)

  25. vic forrester Says:

Why would Ikea bother setting up here in the PI.
Red Tape, unfair taxing, internal theft, window shoppers with no budget, people pissing against the outside walls, throwing waste on the floors, and spitting in the tops of garbage cans inside the store.
    Na ! I don’t think so.

  26. Marie Says:

These are just IMPORTERS of Ikea products, but NOT the actual company. Ikea doesn’t have a showroom here in the Philippines. If they did, it would be as big and as complete as the ones in Singapore, Canada, US, etc. The showrooms here in Philippines are just the showrooms of the different importers. That’s why their prices are usually more expensive than if you bought straight from Ikea. The good thing is, they’ll take care of all importation details for you. ;)

  27. marivic villanueva Says:

  28. Christine Says:

To all Ikea lovers in Manila, I’m organizing an Ikea spree (til july 23, 2009). Please visit my multiply site (christinecco.multiply.com) for details. Thanks!
