Pore Minimizers by The Face Shop

After the Controlling Essence, put on either the light-textured Controlling Emulsion or the more concentrated Controlling Cream.

The Face Shop Pore Minimizer Controlling Cream: P695

I tried the more potent Controlling Cream, which also smells good. Just a small quantity—think way smaller than a pea size amount—goes a long way. It moisturizes my face without making it feel greasy or sticky. You don’t have to wait long before applying makeup over it, too.

But if you want to hide enlarged pores—the way ordinary concealers can’t do on these tricky spots—there’s the Pore Minimizer Cover-Up.

The Face Shop Pore Minimizer Cover-Up: P595

The Cover-Up mattifies skin instantly. This oil-free, gel-type concealer contains silicone to fill in the pores, giving skin an instant smooth appearance. You can even use this before or after makeup.

So, after a week of trying out the line, did it work for me? Find out after the jump.

the toner didnt work for me. il try the cover up next time, hopefully, that one will work.

but i must commend the design of their bottle, very expensive looking :)

  2. cosmochick Says:

when i used the cream along with the toner, the combination seemed effective, in combating oil that is. parang it’s the cover-up that makes my pores seem like they’re smaller

  3. cosmochick Says:

maybe they’re more effective if you use the entire line

I’ve always had problems with my large pores on my nose area… so after reading this, i went out and tried the cover up.. it really works! I think it’s my new best friend ;)
i’ll try the other products soon.. i’m still not sure whether or not to leave Olay since i’ve been using it for 3 years now and i don’t have any complains about it…

  13. lene Says:

I have been using the cover-up for about a year now, usually before I put my make up on. I love how it instantly makes my skin feel smooth and how easily my make up glides on over it. It works and it’s not heavy on the pocket too. Definitely a good buy!

I swear by Idealist by Estee. Among us sisters, only I had the misfortune of having oily skin. But my college friend recommended it so gave it a try. My skin is less shiny and the pores are way tighter. Bit expensive, but worth every peso.

  15. Eunice Says:

    hi maureen,

where is the faceshop located in megamall?

  16. katienics Says:

hi christine, how much is the Idealist by Estee? thanks
