Sneakers are a staple in every woman’s wardrobe. Amidst rows of ballet flats, strappy sandals, flip-flops, high-heeled peep-toes, and pointy stilettos, there are at least one or two pairs of sneakers that stand out from the pack. And more often than not, they are Chuck Taylors—they have been, for a century now.
Converse reaches its 100th year in the shoe business this year, a century of safe, durable, and most especially stylish rubber soled shoes, borne out of the 1908 slipping accident of Marquis M. Converse. More than being the original shoes for athletes, Converse has evolved into one of the world’s iconic shoe brands—every pair is a statement of the wearer’s personality, mindset, and lifestyle. Converse has a wide variety of styles and designs to suit both men and women from all ages and walks of life.
The brand marks its 100th year with the Converse Century celebration, which kicks off with the Spring collection. True to form, the Converse Spring collection captures the consumer’s style and character. Women will definitely love the fancy and colorful new lines of Chuck Taylors—from psychedelic to graffiti—that could add a funky twist to their usual wardrobe. Some of the designs from the Spring collection are unveiled after the jump.

Ever since I’ve started maintaining my pathetic attempt at side swept bangs, I’ve been on the lookout for hair products to keep my bangs—you guessed it—swept to the side of my face.
But as I’ve began trying out different products, I’ve also discovered how each of them can come in handy depending on the kind of look you’re going for, and not just to keep hair in place.
Recently, I’ve tried some of Hong Kong brand Faddy’s hair goodies. And they’ve done more than just keep my bangs to the side.
