Brighten up your peepers!

The brightness or dullness of your eyes spells the difference between a radiant, glowing face and one that looks old and lifeless. Around your eyes, the skin is so fine, any discoloration would easily show. And we all know that dark circles under your eyes are an instant indication of a dull, tired face that you surely wouldn’t want to have.
The fairness and brightness of your skin, including the skin that surrounds your eyes, are actually thanks to the light that flows and reflects from it. However, with everyday exposure to the sun, you skin tone becomes darker due to the increase in production of melanin. Because of the UV rays, much of the light is absorbed, instead of reflected, by your skin, making it appear uneven and dull. UV rays trigger the production of melanin, which leads to the formation of brown spots on the eye contour. Meanwhile, the slowdown in blood circulation under your eyes, due to extreme stress or lack of sleep, can turn into dark, shadowy circles.
L’Oreal Paris Dermo-Expertise launched this July a new product that delivers double anti-dark circle action for brighter looking eyes. The White Perfect Double Eye Zone Brightener is a 2-in-1 product that’s designed to fight dark circles and spots around the eye and cheek zones. The first pump has gel that contains Peptido Complex known to help eliminate blood waste while reducing iron pigments that darken the under eye. The second pump contains a whitening cream with Flashwhite Effect that gives instant luminosity to the overall eye area.
