We all love cheese. Lots and lots of it. A pioneer when it comes to product innovations, Pizza Hut struck gold when it introduced Cheesy Pops back in 2007, improving on its already successful Stuffed Crust Pizza with the pullable outer crust filled with an explosive mix of three cheeses. It was an instant hit among families and friends, and most especially among women who consider cheese among their top comfort food. But here’s the latest twist: the much-loved Cheesy Pops Pizza now comes with a rich cheddar dip at no extra cost!

Pizza Hut takes their surefire hit for a spin and created another showstopper in the Cheesy Pops N’ Dip pizza. It’s already so hard to resist at first glance, with 24 pullable pops surrounding the already toppings-filled family-sized pizza. I was in fact quite full when I attended the treat’s launch—which features a back-to-back “Mamma Mia” movie and TV commercial screening for Pizza Hut’s latest masterpiece at Gateway Mall’s Globe Platinum Cinema—having binged on a sundae right before the event. But all it took was one look at the pops that were bursting with mozzarella, parmesan, and cheddar, and at the creamy, cheesy dip at the center of it all. Before I knew it, my diet flew out the window and I was munching on one pizza after another, saving the best for last.

One bite of the pops and I was convinced Pizza Hut knew the very core of a woman’s indulgence. Instead of overwhelming the Cheesy Pops, the rich cheddar dip perfectly complemented its taste. For someone who has had a dose of dairy right before trying the product, the cheddar dip was pleasant, welcome surprise to my already dairy-infused taste buds. It’s such a great temptation, since it doesn’t overwhelm you with richness, and instead leaves you craving for more right after you’ve swallowed the last morsel. The cheesy pops and dip are a perfect match.

“The dip has the perfect blend of creaminess and sweetness that provides an appetizing tang to it. ‘Sarap!” exclaims my friend, Lhot, after she tried it.
