Get O-so-rosy lips with this “magic” gloss
by Trixie Reyna, Managing Editor
Have you been looking for the perfect lip gloss that would take you from day to night? I find that solid lipstick colors that are perfect for the evening tend to make some women look older, while the light-colored glosses we wear daily are too pale and bland for a nightout—and given the ever growing bulk of our makeup kits, wouldn’t it be great to have one lip product that can work for both?
The first time I heard of O-Gloss by Smashbox, I was instantly intrigued—it worked like magic. I was told it was the lip gloss version of the equally great product O-Glow, the first intuitive blush that comes out of its tube in clear gel form and reacts to your personal skin chemistry once applied, giving your cheeks the natural pink color you get when you blush in seconds. Read more after the jump.
O-Gloss follows the same principle for your lips, which is even more intriguing for me. The intuitive lip gloss goes on as clear gel yet changes into a really pretty shade of bright pink that takes from the natural color of your lips as it reacts to your skin, plus it gives them that delicious shine we like.
Get a custom shade of pink based on your personal skin chemistry and on the amount of the product you put on your lips. I love this because it allows me to have light pink, slightly glossy lips when I apply just a little during the day, and bright and shiny hot pink lips when I apply it generously at night. It glides on smoothly and even has a tingling sensation that brings a delicious pout to my lips. The color also lasts quite long, and doesn’t fade completely even after eating and drinking.
The first time it was released in the country, Beauty Bar immediately ran out of stock of the product. Good thing O-Gloss is now available in Beauty Bar outlets in different malls around the metro for Php 995 (I saw it in Shangri-La Mall and Greenbelt 3). Buy it in a set with O-Glow for Php 1950.

I’m not sure it does, but it’s glossy enough to make your lips look fuller.

Bought this in the US last year, along with the O-Gloss. It doesn’t plump lips but it gives you a nice natural look that’s just glossy enough to be special. Love both products really so I do recommend it
