In a tropical country such as ours, we are lucky to have an excuse to wear flip-flops all-year-round. Since we pair flip-flops with a wide variety of outfits, it’s almost normal for Pinays to have at least five different pairs—or even an entire shoe shelf devoted to them.

If you’re looking for more pretty pairs of this most comfortable footwear, you may find some of the most unique and stylish designs from Ipanema. Offering a wide range of prints, colors, and even bejeweled styles, you can find an Ipanema pair to match your equally glam tunic, shorts, mini skirt, or sundress for that effortlessly chic look—even in these “-ber” months.

You don’t even have to sacrifice comfort over style, since these flip-flops are extremely comfortable. They are made from a unique and really soft PVC material that is molded specifically for all shapes of feet, and have soles that are well-padded.

The various Ipanema designs and environment-friendly reason you should consider getting a pair follows after the jump. (more…)

The same team who brought you the delightful Nurture Spa Village in Tagaytay and Pampanga and spa products company Spa Essentials now brings you wellness, healing, and stress-relief in little bottles through their new aromatherapy line, Amu’in.

I’ve had the chance to try four of the products in this new line which I find most convenient and suitable for on-the-go needs of career women. Convenient enough to carry in your handbag, each of these products instantly addresses a particular wellness concern with just a spritz. Learn more about these products and find out why you’ll instantly become a fan of Amu’in after the jump. (more…)

The fight against cervical cancer has taken a more active turn this year, especially after the discovery and release of a vaccine against the disease. While a lot of women still suffer from it, there’s comfort in knowing we can all do our share in fighting it.

You can even take a stand against cervical cancer through fashion. Local brand Maldita recently unveiled “B*tching Against Cervical Cancer,” an exclusive line of statement shirts that support the “X Out Cervical Cancer” campaign by Cervical Cancer Prevention Network (CECAP), Cancer Institute Foundation (CFI), and Bravehearts. These organizations support cervical cancer patients and spread word that screening and vaccination can help prevent this illness.

Check out the statement-making shirt designs and learn how you can help the campaign after the jump. (more…)
