Sure there are coffee shops and quaint restaurants where we can dine, unwind, read, or catch up with friends. But have you ever thought of enjoying these activities elsewhere, say at a hand and foot spa?
Quezon City folks and those within the vicinity will be glad to discover that there is actually a cozy new place where you can make pampering a family affair or a new way of hanging out with friends.
Nail Files, found near East Avenue which is accessible from basically anywhere in the metro via EDSA or the QC Circle (Elliptical Road to some), is the new hangout place for students, particularly those reviewing for exams. Owner Mitzi Panganiban even claims it is a family destination, since a lot of their customers visit with their daughters or even their sons. It is arguably one of the more relaxing places within UP Village, and it just might be worth visiting even if you live in Manila or the Ortigas area.
My friend and I decided to see for ourselves, and we were not disappointed. The wonderful pampering we experienced follows after the jump. (more…)
