After last year’s successful launch of Belo Essentials’ breakthrough products, Intelligent Skin Care, Inc. (an affiliate of the Belo Medical Group) introduces new products to its Whitening Face Care Line. Achieving whiter skin the Belo way has become more accessible, and can be done daily in three simple steps using their Whitening Face Wash, Whitening Toners, and Whitening Face Creams.

According to Cristalle Belo Henares, Intelligent Skin Care Managing Director, the new Belo Essentials Whitening Toners and Whitening Face Creams are something she and her mom Dr. Vicky Belo have been working on for some time now and they are very excited to share this with everyone. Acknowledging that not everyone can afford to go to a beauty clinic, Dr. Belo wanted to use her clinic’s expertise in making beautifully whiter skin more attainable for the premium mass market. Thus, they developed skin care products with the same unique and breakthrough Dermlight Skin System found in every Belo Essentials product.

To lighten your skin naturally and gently for that signature “Star White” glow, these clinically-tested products have a dual whitening system which supposedly controls the production of melanin and prevents melanin transfer to the skin’s surface, allowing for faster and more noticeable results.

The two new products, Belo Essentials Whitening Toner and Whitening Face Cream, complement the Whitening Face Wash in helping you achieve beautiful, whiter skin in just seven days, which was why I was eager to begin three-step skin care habit as soon as I got the products.

Step 1: Cleanse.
Before going to bed, I cleansed my face with the Pore Minimizing and Whitening Face Wash (P131.75 for 100ml), since I have oily skin. I like its mild fragrance, which makes my face smell so fresh after washing. The soap-free, gel-type wash is gentle on my skin yet so effective in wiping the day’s oil and dirt from my face, leaving it refreshed.

Step 2: Tone.
Since I’m on a mission to minimize my pores, I followed the wash with their Pore Refining Whitening Toner (P70.75 for 100ml), which also comes in two sizes and another variant. It is recommended for oily skin, which tends to have larger pores. It complemented the refreshing feeling the facial wash provided, and worked well to keep my face oil-free. I only use this at night, since my skin dries easily when I use toners too often.
