Look fab, even in the kitchen!
by Savvy Shopper
Who says you can’t look fashionable in the kitchen? Gone are the days when you’d rather be caught dead than caught wearing a stained old apron when your gorgeous suitor happens to pay you a visit while you’re whipping up dinner for your family. And if you’re a young wife and mother, you need not shed your fashionista image as you take on this great new role.
Kitchen Couture is one brand that offers you options for looking stylish, even in the kitchen, your workshop, or the garden. It was created by a group of four kitchen-loving friends with a vision of providing cooks and hobbyists a stylish alternative to the traditional apron. They wanted to add a touch of whimsy and style to everyday items around the home.
Their signature product is specialty aprons for women, with attractive designs that, I must admit, really made me give them a second look: one style even looked like a dress (at least in front) that you could wear to a party! They supposedly designed each piece to be both stylish and functional, and their secret is in the details: pockets, towel loops, and buttons on which to hang your oven mitts; and ruffles, pleats, and lace to add a touch of flair.
See their various designs and other products after the jump.

I must say that they really look great! I love being in the kitchen and I’d love to have one. Sad to say but I also have to agree with others that it’s pricey for an apron which when used in the kitchen, has the great possibility of discoloration from all the elements that might come splashing on the apron.

I like ‘em!
The price isn’t so bad you know. Some people are just used to tiangge or China pricing. These are probably made locally so I would fully support them.
