Look effortlessly chic in these sandals

by Sharline Bareng, Staff Writer

Most of us swear by the versatility of our flip-flops, but some occasions call for an upgrade to sandals. For days when we have to glam up but would still rather display our pretty feet than hide them in closed shoes, wearing a pair of pretty sandals might do the trick.

Sandals should not be uncomfortable or difficult to wear. We should thank brands like Brazil’s Grendha that do not require us to choose between style and comfort, as they allow us to enjoy both. Their chic sandals are as comfortable as flip-flops can get and can complement your effortlessly glam outfit.

Grendha offers numerous footwear options to suit different personalities and purposes. The brand has designs made unique by a distinct selection of colors and patterns that can take you from a casual work day or a shopping trip to a night out with friends.

Which Grendha style can make you feel easily glamorous? Take your pick after the jump.

A quaint shopping village in the heart of Cubao

by Trixie Reyna, Managing Editor

There’s actually a great shopping place within the Araneta complex apart from Gateway Mall. It has some really amazing finds and even a quaint Italian restaurant you have probably heard about and should definitely try.

Have you heard of Cubao Expo? It is the former The Marikina Shoe Expo, nestled between the Araneta bus terminal and Puregold, and located behind Ali Mall & the old Rustan’s Superstore, which now houses Automatic Supercenter and ACS Call Center.

Among its tenants are I Love You store, Grand Thrift Shop, Little Divisoria, The Reading Room (with lots of fashion finds and even a soul card reading room where you can have your fortune told by its proprietor, Sandy Allan), Breathing Space, White Box Gallery, Sputnik Fantastik Comicbook Shop, and Bellinis Italian restaurant, which we mentioned at the beginning of this post.

Learn more about this quaint shopping place hidden in the heart of Cubao in Quezon City as well as their exciting shopping events after the jump.
