There’s no point dieting and resisting our favorite sweet treats this Christmas. After all, that’s when all the really good stuff come out; it’s a losing battle. It’s about time we go easy on ourselves.
You won’t need much convincing either if you know what Dairy Queen has in store for us. It seems our favorite brand of cool comfort food can’t seem to stop churning out irresistible combination of flavors for the bestselling Blizzard, Moolatte, Dilly Bar, and Ice Cream Cake, just as they did for the holidays.

Dairy Queen’s worldwide bestselling Blizzard takes on a yuletide spin with the Yule Flip Peppermint Chip Blizzard (main photo; price starts at P79), which blends peppermint candy pieces and chewy chocolate chunks with creamy vanilla soft serve ice cream. If you love mint chocolate, this is heavenly! Even with all the ice cream I’ve sampled when I visited DQ recently, I couldn’t help but practically finish the entire tall serving. The peppermint candy is really yummy!
I thought nothing could be better than the Blizzard, but I was proven wrong. The Yule Flip Peppermint Chip Cake (P749) turned the Yule Flip Peppermint Chip Blizzard into an even better form when layered heavily with loads of vanilla soft serve and irresistible fudge crunch. I forgot that I was already full to the brim with ice cream and almost finished the entire slice. While you cannot order this per slice, it is definitely more fun to share the entire ice cream cake with your friends and family this holiday season. Make sure you get it to your destination in two hours, though, so you won’t spoil (read: melt) it.
